Dude there were no dual core processors In 2004. This came in about 2009 or 2010.i have bought it when it was popular in 2010.it was about 5600 back then

This was my first processor and had bought it in 2008 so would have been released in 2007-08.
On a side not this build with a 64gb SSD is good for everyday tasks.
This is a very good processor. Very powerful 6MB cache core 2 duo processor. Best choice for the 775 socket motherboards. You can get refurbished or reseller models at very cheap price on ebay.
