there are two apps…

one is DBS app from their website

second is Ola Normal Cab App right?

Yea!

So here’s how it works:

→ You need to download DBS app.
→ Then you need to download Ola cabs app (assuming you have an account).

Next, sign up to DBS app and you will get a virtual card. This is the card you have to use in OLA.

But before doing so, you have to add money to this card. It’s a zero rupee card.

When you add 700 to this card, you can take this card details (number, cvv, etc) and use in your Ola app.

From your ola app, go to the Ola Money section and add 700 and use PROMO CODE as DBS.

Do the transaction.

700 gets converted to 1200 Ola money.

Few things to note:

→ DBS card isn’t activated instantly.
→ Do not add money from Ola web – I did that mistake.

I don’t have a specific timeframe. I created 3 DBS accounts in one shot and added funds via IMPS.

Then I transacted next day and today – all worked flawlessly.

As many posted here, add some funds to your card and do a small transaction (although I didn’t do this and directly added 700 and completed the transaction).

successfully recd 1200 in 2 different ola accounts, paying from same dbs account on the same device just now

how much time it took for u to create the DBS card?? I meant with activation.. I know that it is not instant.. so just wanted to know how much time it will take….

Around 15 hrs. I tried in the morning 10 am it was not working.

worked second time. Different ola account different mobile.
got 500 cb on adding 700 using same dbs card.

I registered yesterday and added 700 to my digibank virtual card today.
When i try to add ola money from it, gettign error saying “Authentication failed”.

Is the card still not active? If it is inactive, do i get any email/sms when it gets activated?

its get activated in 10 -15 hours

Used the same DBS Virtual card for a second Ola account. Worked just fine.

Superb offer. Added in 3 OLA accounts, 3 devices, single 3 DBS cards.

P.S. It took more than 24 hours to get the card activated. KG to OP.

Do we need to use ola money by 31 Dec 2015? I saw validity as Dec 2015 what is that for?

Have they started adding validity to Virtual money?
