This is why I hate them.
I don’t want my bank statement to show me 20 rupees deducted by FreeCharge three times!
That’s why I skip all offers from freecharge.
y Dont u and @masthead1 Open a New Account in Bank of Baroda
and Get VISA for all chilli offers
You don’t get it, you want every month my statement to show mere 20rs charges multiple times.

The Multiple Transaction Charges only problem with Some Private Banking
PSU bank never do transaction charges Unlimited Internet Transaction I guess – That’s Y I suggest BOB
Do sure first I dont have BOB bt I think it will work with any PSU Bank

I was charged above 1000rs for transaction charges via PSU bank. That was the first time I realized there are charges like that if you cross certain transaction limit in a month/year in every pvt/psu bank. So rather than getting 20bucks on 20rs recharge, I’ll skip such offers.

You’re right. There is a limit on transactions done via debit card per month for many banks for most of the savings accounts.
E.g., SBI’s general savings account has a limit of 30 free successful transactions done via debit card per month. After using 30 free transactions, there is a charge for every transaction made via debit card per month.
I too had same experience with Indian bank.lost 955rs."@rv2012":http://www.desidime.com/users/99069 wrote:

You can do up to 100 transactions / year by using your Indian bank debit card( including ATM withdrawals). If it exceed more than 100, you will be charged 6 rs for every new transaction."@rv2012":http://www.desidime.com/users/99069 wrote:

Including net banking?
I am curious. Are most of you using DCs for online purchases, students or unemployed or not eligible for CCs or are wary of using CCs?
Why don’t you use CCs?

There are some people who hate Credit Cards even if they earn a lot.
The reasons are many.
