I shopped from Amazon for the first time. It was a book from Arihant : a guide for Hindi subject for my upcoming board exams. I had always been weak in Hindi as a subject, and I figured this book could help me in acing my board exams. That book was worth 200 in the local shop, I didn’t buy it as I thought it was expensive. On that day I just randomly checked for what price I can buy it cheapest, and a Google search showed Amazon selling it for 130. I thought the shipping would be 50 or something but it was 2013 and at time Amazon had free delivery for books. I placed it on COD, which to my surprise was available. I got the book 4 days later, and I had a good talk with the delivery guy as well. That couldn’t have been a better experience.

My first purchase was a helmet from Amazon as helmets (of good brands) were not sold in my town.
