Reached Varanasi in morning by train from hometown, travelled to take an auto, who dropped me at Hyderabad gate of IIT, walked from there to Alumini Guest house. Got a bath and breakfast, and walked to KV Mandor in BHU, took an auto to Lanka gate, walked to Pehlwan for a Lauglata and Lassi and back. Took auto to Hyderabad gate and walked to guest house. Took lunch and walked to Mechanical department, went to all labs and walked to the admin building to take a lecture there. From there, went straight to airport and back home. In post covid days this was most steps in a day. Prior ones I do not have any proof right now...

Apparently, 'remote' meant 'no public/private transport whatsoever'. So, I spent my days clocking in a whopping 25,000 steps 😬. Meanwhile, I'm used to strolling 400 steps a day

Once I used an app (can't remember the name) which was running a contest where we need to complete some milestones of walking for winning free gifts. At that time I had my highest step counts per day by laying down on bed and shaking the phone very fast.😄

For me it was trek to Kinner Kailash Mahadev trek from Tanglik village in Distt Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh on 9th and 10th Aug 2024.
9th Aug - Tangling village to Melling Khata camping site (Ganesh Park) = 31230 steps
10th Aug - From Ganesh park to kinner kailash and back to tangling village = 51968 steps
