Zomato Intercity Legends Pilot Started!

Zomato has gone live with their pilot project of ‘Intercity Legends’. Currently, it is available for select customers in Gurugram and parts of South Delhi. Other cities will soon get it in the next few weeks, said the company.

Zomato Intercity Legends is an all India food delivery service. This means that you can order food online from any part of the country. Currently, it is in its pilot phase and available for select customers in Gurugram and parts of South Delhi.

The best part here is that you can order food from where it was born. Just like Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken from streets of Old Delhi and Royal Khansama from Lucknow. The aim of this service is to deliver nostalgic food from anywhere to anyone.

Zomato Intercity Legends promises food delivery in 1 day. This will be done via airways. Thus, you order today and receive food the next day.

The company says that the Food is freshly prepared by the restaurant and packed in reusable and tamper-proof containers to keep it safe during air transit. The State-of-the-art mobile refrigeration technology preserves the food without the need to freeze it or add any kind of preservatives. Once you receive your order, you can microwave, air-fry, or pan-fry the food, just like any other dish out of the refrigerator.

A biryani from Hyderabad costs ₹350. On Zomato Intercity Legends, the Cost of biryani is ₹280, Delivery and shipping cost is ₹350, and ₹70 in taxes. Thus, total price comes out to be ₹700 i.e. double the biryani’s in-store cost.
