You might already know by now that Samsung announced the all-new Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra along with Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro and of course the long-due Galaxy Ring. Yes, the same one that was into “rumours” soon after Boat Smart Ring started spreading its name in India, basically it's been a year since Galaxy Ring was first rumoured to launch in India. But that shouldn’t be a shocker when it comes to Samsung.
Many people might not know but Samsung first started building the concept of foldable smartphones since year 2008 so the Galaxy Z Flip or Fold phone you hold in your hands today is a result of over a decade of innovation. Now while that’s great research, for now let’s get back to talking about what we were supposed to, the Samsung Galaxy Watch launch in India, the Samsung Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro and the Galaxy Ring sale dates in India.
Find out some key details about the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra launch date in India, its price and Galaxy Ring and new Buds 3 & Galaxy Buds 3 Pro sale price.
Samsung Galaxy Ring launch date & price in India
Samsung started its Galaxy Unpacked Event by first showcasing the Galaxy Ring which comes with sensors to track heart, sleep and activity. The Galaxy Ring will be up for sale starting July 24th. It looks pretty standard as you can see, smooth surface from the outside available in 3 colours, Titanium Silver, Titanium Gold and Titanium Black.
The ring takes about 80 mins to fully charge an 18mAh battery which though sounds ridiculously small, is sufficient for the teeny-tiny-looking Ring to give you a usage of up to 7 days. Yes, there’s an “up to” there. Note it.
Again for the teeny-tiny-sized ring (which btw is ideal for a human finger), there’s also a much-needed 8MB memory and 512KB + 64KB RAM. Yes take your time please, let those numbers sink in.
There’s also a bunch of health metrics one can track such as Distance Travelled, Calories Burned, Steps, Heart Rate, Sleep Tracker, and more. Keep in mind, you still need to connect the Galaxy Ring with the Samsung Health app only available on Samsung devices. Not to mention, there’s some Galaxy AI integration too.
Coming to the part of the Galaxy Ring that we personally liked the best, the IP68 rating and 10ATM water resistance. The 10ATM water resistance rating is 2 times (really) better than Boat Ring’s 5ATM water resistance. But then Boat Ring costs 1/3rd of what the Samsung Galaxy Ring costs. This brings us to our next point how much even is this new Samsung Galaxy Ring worth? What is the price of the Galaxy Ring in India?
Samsung Galaxy Ring Price in India?
The Galaxy Ring starts at Rs.34,000 which is of course not cheap for a tech ring. But, that’s Samsung for you. The Galaxy Ring is clearly a premium offering from the brand. Its also interestingly expensive than the Aura Ring which is one of the competitors in this space.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 & Watch 7 Ultra Launch Date in India
Another newly launched wearable tech from Samsung is of course the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra. Don’t mind if the latter name resonates with another premium watch. Both the newly announced Galaxy Watches come with a bunch of metrics to track, most of which is pretty similar to the Watch 6 series.
However, there’s one big and new difference in the new Galaxy Watch 7, now users can also track their AGE levels.
Both the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra also feature FDA-authorized sleep apnea-detection technology which I am not sure if any other smartwatch currently offers. So good job Samsung there.
The brand also claimed the watch to have a 3nm processor which makes it the fastest Galaxy watch ever. A battery life of up to 100 hours (in Power Saving Mode) is also notable.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 & Watch 7 Price in India
The price of Galaxy Watch 7 in India starts from Rs.29,999 for the Bluetooth-only version and starts at Rs.32,999 for the LTE & BT version. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra price in India starts from Rs.59,999.
