Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is expected to launch soon as the phone obtains BIS certification in India.

At the end of the third quarter, India's 5G handsets purchases held at 1.7 million, a figure which was predicted to cross four million by the end of 2020. The speculation of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G India model number SM-G781B/DS appearing on the BIS website, points towards expected a launch by the brand. To recall, the brand launched its 4G variant last year and the Exynos 990 SoC powering the model.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE specs also include a Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, 4,500mAh battery, and triple cameras. The recent reports suggest that the South Korean giant is preparing for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G India launch as it has acquired the BIS certification in India.

There is no evidence when the Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G model will be available in the country. The single difference between the 4G and 5G models is the processor, and the rest of the spec is the same.
