Reliance Retail yesterday (24th August, 2023) launched Yousta with the opening of its 1st store in Hyderabad’s Sarath City Mall. Yousta is a youth (15-25 yrs) focused fashion chain promising affordable fashion shopping so that most of the youngsters can wear their passion!
The beauty of Yousta is that all products are priced below ₹999 while most of them are under ₹499. You might also get products under ₹399! Yousta will showcase apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, beauty products, and much more for boys, girls, men, and women. It also has a 'Starring Now' segment where a new complete outfit (with accessories) will be showcased for sale every week!
Akhilesh Prasad (President and CEO of Reliance Fashion & Lifestyle) said:-
''The team will continuously work with India's younger generation to understand their evolving fashion needs. Every day will be 'Day One' in terms of freshness and relevance. Yousta will not only give a voice to the youth but also give them the freedom to express themselves, because for us, they are absolute stars.''
Yousta will soon begin its online shopping via Ajio and JioMart so you can grab Ajio Coupons and JioMart Coupons! Yousta items are designed, manufactured, and sold in-house so there is no other fashion brand involvement.
Yousta includes unisex merchandise, character merchandise, and a weekly refresh capsule (new collection every week). This new fashion brand is also tech savvy with QR-enabled screens (information sharing), self-checkout counters, complimentary Wi-Fi and charging stations.
The company is planning to open at least 200 stores across India by the end of this financial year. It also has a vision to be a market player in the next 3 years.
Reliance Retail last year launched Azorte (premium fast-fashion) and Tira (premium beauty products) stores, and now with Yousta it has 10+ micro fashion segments.
Talking about its peers (low price branded fashion), Zudio (Tata Trent) has 352 stores in 119 cities, Intune (Shoppers Stop) with 3 stores in Hyderabad and Dombivli, and Style Up (Aditya Birla) with 16 stores (tier 2-3). The recently launched Intune’s average price is somewhere between ₹400-₹500 which is amazingly great! There’s also Landmark group’s MAX Fashion!
