Guns and Gulaabs starring Rajkummar Rao is another new OTT series this month on Netflix whose cinematography may teleport you back to the 90s era of cassette players, landline phones, and Yezdi bikes amidst a cartel-run town of Gulaabgunj. With an ensemble cast led by Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah, it weaves together the stories of four very different men whose lives collide thanks to an opium deal gone wrong.

Prime Video this month is bringing yet another thriller adaptation of an adult novel that promises plenty of unexpected twists and turns in the story. We are talking about the newly released OTT series this month on Prime Video, Harlan Coben’s. The TV Series stars Jaden Michael as Mickey Bolitar who after surviving in a car crash that kills his father, goes to live with his estranged aunt. Mickey Bolitar joins a new school only to somehow get caught up in the mysterious disappearance of Ashley, his first date. AP Dhillon is a name that is not just popular in India but also in other countries like Canada. AP Dhillon: First of a Kind is a 4-part documentary series released on Prime Video this month. The docu-series as the name suggests is based on the Indo-Canadian singer, rapper, and record producer, Amritpal Singh Dhillon, aka AP Dhillon. This new OTT release on Prime Video traces his journey from rural Punjab to finding fame with his high-energy fusion tracks.

Lighthouse a new TV Show this month on Netflix is about some real talks between the two entertainers, Musician Gen Hoshino and comic Masayasu Wakabayashi. These two meet up and have some of the real “behind-the-scenes” talk with each other about their vulnerabilities, and pressure in their careers and lives. The series also marks the acting debut of the rapper, Raftaar who would be sharing the stage with other cast members like Sahil Khattar, Mahira Sharma, and Monalisa. Bajao is a comedy-drama film that follows a tale of 3 young filmmakers who somehow manage to hire a very famous rapper for a show but to their fate soon after things start to turn upside down. The Marvel Comic series stars Dominique Thorne as genius inventor Riri Williams who creates an advanced armor suit similar to Iron Man's. I personally am not a big fan of watching Marvel Comics. However, if watching superhero movies, innovation, and discovery-led movies is your thing, you may enjoy watching this superhero action-packed series Iron Heart. Based on the character from Marvel Comics, Iron Heart is a mini-series that is part of phase 5 of the MCU.

Aakhri Sach is another new OTT release this month August 2023 that is a must-watch if you are into crime thrillers. This new investigative series is releasing on Disney+ Hotstar & features Tamannah Bhatia as a cop leading a complicated crime investigation that is full of twists and turns. The series story is fictional but yet inspired by real-life events that shook the nation Grewal said. Directed by Sammi Cohen, it follows a tale of two best friends Stacy and Lydia whose epic bat mitzvah plans turn into chaos when a popular boy comes between them.
