Xiaomi 14 series in India is soon going to make a debut. As per reports, there are a total of 3 models in the Xiaomi 14 series which are Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, users might only get lucky to see the Xiaomi 14 launch in India as the other two phones aren’t confirmed by the brand as of yet. Speaking about this upcoming Xiaomi smartphone launch in March, it certainly is going to catch all limelights. Thanks to its (expected) features like a 50MP Ultra-wide camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 3000 nits brightness with 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display and a triple rear camera unit along with a 32MP selfie camera.

Starting our list of the new and upcoming smartphone launches in March 2024, we have got a confirmed launch, the Nothing Phone 2A releasing in India on March 5th. What’s interesting about the Nothing Phone 2A is that it is not only going to be cheaper than Nothing Phone 1 but the CEO has also promised the handset to follow the brand’s custom of providing a clean intuitive OS, solid performance and camera. However, some recent reports on the design rendering of the phone suggest that users might have to say goodbye to the Glyph lights in Nothing 2A which may be a bit of a deal breaker for some of Nothing fans. Nevertheless, it is one of the most anticipated upcoming smartphones releasing in March in India.

Speaking about the processor in Nothing Phone 2A, the product manager of the brand confirmed it to be a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro.

Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro is going to be a custom chipset specially designed for the Nothing Phone 2A and as per Raymond (Nothing Phone 2A product manager) which even beats the Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 and Snapdragon 782G.

Moving on to our list of the new and upcoming smartphones in India, we have got one from the Chinese brand, Oppo. The Oppo F25 in India is releasing by the name of Oppo 11F in Malaysia on February 25th, 2024. Hence, a sooner expected launch for India awaits fans, February 29th to be precise. The Oppo F Series is known for its mid to lower midrange smartphones focused on performance as compared to the Oppo A series which is more budget range.

In the upcoming Oppo smartphone F25 Series, we can expect to see two models, the Oppo F25 5G and the Oppo F25 Pro 5G. The Oppo F25 is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip and the Oppo F25 Pro is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 750G chipset.

MediaTek Dimensity 7050 vs Snapdragon 750G 🤔

If the rumours become true then clearly, the Oppo F25 Pro is built more for gaming performance, thanks to its Snapdragon G series processor & higher GPU clock speed. On the other hand, the Oppo F25 is going to be better for multitasking. Thanks to its Mediatek Dimensity 7050 processor’s high memory & CPU performance. However, do note that the Snapdragon 750G chipset was launched in 2020 as compared to the Mediatek Dimensity 7050 (a rebranded version of Dimensity 1080) in 2022.

Oppo F25 launch date in India is expected to be March 5th though it's not confirmed. However given the phone is launching in Malaysia on Feb 25th, we can expect a launch for India most likely by March 5th.

Oppo launched the predecessor Oppo F23 in May last year so the Oppo F25 launch date might be dragged to May as well which is why it is one of the expected upcoming smartphone launches in our list and not a confirmed one.

Oppo F25 competitors include phones like Realme 11 Pro Plus, Oppo Reno 11, etc. Interestingly, the Lava Agni 2 5G which comes under 20K also boasts the same chipset as the Oppo F25 at around 30K to 35K approx.

Oppo F25 specifications aren’t yet official. However below are some of the expected specs of Oppo F25:

The Oppo F25 Pro in India is also set to launch on the same day as the Oppo F25, which is on 29th February. Being an upcoming smartphone launch, there are of course not many details about this phone. As per several media reports and leaks, the Oppo F25 Pro is going to boast a Snapdragon 750G processor, a 64MP main camera with 8MP ultra-wide and a 16MP selfie camera. The base variant would host a 128GB storage and an 8GB RAM. In contrast to the frequent releases seen from smartphone giants like Samsung, Redmi, and OnePlus, Oppo has maintained a notably quieter presence in the market. After the Oppo F23 last year, the Oppo F25 is probably the only new phone we have heard of from the brand in recent times. So, fans have some expectations from the upcoming smartphone Oppo F25 launch in India.

Oppo F25 Pro's launch date in India is expected to be March 5th and the possible competitors of it can be Realme 12 Pro Plus and OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Interestingly, Samsung F23 5G under 20K also comes with the same chipset as Oppo F25 Pro (above 27K).

Notably, for now, it feels like there isn’t going to be much difference between the two models, Oppo F25 vs Oppo F25 Pro. Apart from the chipset and memory/storage. Though nothing can be said with confirmation as of now as the phone specs are still a speculation.

Realme’s upcoming smartphone launch in India is going to happen on March 6th, 2024. The newly launching phone is currently live on Realme’s official website landing page. As per the page, viewers can complete the given task to win a chance for a Realme Big Box lottery prize worth Rs.47,000. Speaking about the phone, the brand calls it “the ultimate value mid-ranger” and reports suggest that it is going to be the first phone in the price segment to boast an OIS camera with Sony LYT600 sensor. Additionally, the phone is going to boast an IP54 rating & a premium leather back panel.

Rumours have it that the upcoming Realme phone will be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 7050 chipset. Yep, the same 6-nm processor that we saw in the (rumoured) upcoming Oppo F25 5G above. In terms of display, users can expect Realme 12 Plus 5G to have an AMOLED 6.7 inches FHD+ screen. Whether it would be a curved display or not is something only time will tell. Realme 12 Pro 5G does have a curved display by the way so perhaps we could expect the same from Realme 12+ 5G. Currently, Lava Agni 2 is probably one of the rare smartphones with curved displays under 20K price.

The Realme 12 Plus 5G is confirmed to launch in India on 6th March, 12:00 PM 2024 as per the brand’s official website. The phone is going to be one more addition to the Realme 12 Pro & Pro Plus series which launched last month in January this year. Coming on to its competitors, users can consider options like Realme 11 Pro, Realme 11 Pro Plus, Oppo F25 (if it arrives at the expected chipset), Lava Agni 2 5G, Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G, etc.

Vivo which is considered to be the 2nd top smartphone brand in India after Samsung might launch its Vivo V29 series in March. The Vivo V Series brings upper-midrange smartphones and is known for its camera specs especially.

The Vivo V29 series, the predecessor of Vivo V30 Pro was launched in the month of October last year. The smartphones didn’t seem to gain as much traction. Thanks to the phones being overpriced. For example, the Vivo V29e comes with Snapdragon 695 at Rs.27,0000 which doesn’t make sense. The Vivo V29 Pro comes with Mediatek Dimensity 8200 at a price tag of Rs.40,000 while the iQOO Neo 7 brings you the same chipset at 26K. However, on the other hand, the Vivo V29 Pro is one of the very few phones to offer a 4K recording at 60FPS and a 2X telephoto lens under 40K.

So, let’s see what the Vivo V30 Pro is going to look like. The brand claims Vivo V30 Pro brings ZEISS pro portraits and advanced ZEISS lenses. The upcoming smartphone will also bring 1X zoom and 2X zoom telephoto camera. From the Vivo V30 Pro Thailand launch images, it seems like the aura light is going to get bigger. Notably, Vivo also claims the phone to be the thinnest Vivo smartphone that comes with a 5000mAh battery.

The Vivo V30 series is launching in Thailand on February 28th. In India, we can expect the Vivo V30 Pro to launch in March. The exact launch date cannot be said yet. The possible competitors of the Vivo V30 Pro can be the OnePlus 12R series depending on the price point Vivo V30 Pro gets launched. In Thailand, reports suggest that the upcoming Vivo phone is launching at a price of Rs.43,000 (฿19,000) approx. In India, we can expect it to be priced around Rs.47,000 to Rs.55,000

After the Vivo V29 series fell flat in India, it would be interesting to see if the brand does anything different in its upcoming smartphone launch in March.

Moving on to our list of upcoming smartphone launches in India in March 2024, iQOO Z9 has to be on the list. The new iQOO smartphone is confirmed to launch in India. All thanks to the phone being spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and on the Amazon India landing page. Its predecessor iQOO Z7 series was probably one of the hottest selling smartphones last year in the Flipkart Big Billion Days. I personally use the iQOO Z7 Pro and let me tell you the performance, design and camera (daylight) are simply a banger at the price.

With this upcoming smartphone launch in India, iQOO is going to be bringing the iQOO Z9 expected to be powered by MTK Dimensity 7200 SoC and a beautiful 1.5K OLED display which is definitely going to be a big upgrade over the IPS LCD display in iQOO Z8 (launched in China) and even the AMOLED FHD+ display in iQOO Z7 (in India). The launch details are finally out about this upcoming iQOO phone, fans will be able to grab the iQOO Z9 on 12th March 2024.

iQOO Z9 launch in India is confirmed and the phone is already listed on the BIS website as well as on the Amazon landing page. As expected, the launch is occurring on the 12th of March. Speaking about the price, iQOO as a brand is known to go for aggressive pricing. We have seen that in the iQOO Z7 Pro, the iQOO Neo series and even the iQOO 12. So given all of this, fans can expect the iQOO Z9 price in India to be around Rs.20,000 and the iQOO Z9 Pro to launch at approx Rs.35,000
