Reliance Jio has launched Jio Fiber Backup Plans for homes with shaky wifi connections. These plans come with always-on backup connectivity and start at Rs.198. Customers who have an unreliable broadband connection can easily upgrade their speed from 10 Mbps to 30 or 100 Mbps with the new Jio Fiber broadband backup plans for 1 day to 7 days. Below is a list of Jio Fiber Broadband Backup Plans, what are they, how the Jio backup plans work, and their charges and cost.

Jio Fiber Broadband Backup Plans are new broadband plans of Jio that can provide extra data and voice benefits in unreliable or shaky network situations. These Jio Fiber Broadband Backup plans will work similarly to data add-on plans. If you choose to purchase the Jio Fiber broadband backup plan, you will get a new (spare) Jio Fiber Back-up Connection which will help to provide you extra data and voice benefits whenever required.

Jio has not shared much information on how exactly the Jio backup broadband fiber plans will work, but these plans will work similarly to that data add-ons that one can use to increase their internet speed for a of day or two. So, in times your primary broadband connection isn’t working, you can use the Jio Fiber broadband connection plan.

Reliance Jio has announced Jio Fiber backup plans starting at Rs.198. Customers who wish to avail of additional OTT & Entertainment benefits need to pay an additional Rs.100 to Rs.200 charge depending on the Jio Fiber backup plan you are purchasing.

There are also speed upgrades with the Jio Fiber backup Plans that you can opt for if required. So if in case your primary broadband connection’s speed is down, you can simply upgrade your existing broadband plan with Jio Fiber speed upgrade backup plans starting at Rs.21 for 30 Mbps speed.

As you can see Jio Fiber plans start from Rs.298 (Rs.198 + Rs.100 STB Entertainment Upgrade charges) These prices are exclusive of GST and the most premium Jio Fiber backup plan costing Rs.1499 is inclusive of Rs.500 installation charges and 5 months service (Rs.999)
