Lakhan Leela Bhargava is another newly announced OTT release this month on JioCinema featuring Ravie Dubey, Sanvikaa and Sonali Sachdeva. The plot of Lakhan Leela Bhargava (LLB) revolves around an empathetic lawyer in Lucknow who in his fight for justice navigates through some gripping court drama with cases that deeply resonate with a common man’s life. As mentioned, Lakhan Leela Bhargava's OTT release date is August 21st and the upcoming series on JioCinema would be available to watch for free.

Taali, OTT Release This Month on JioCinema (Release Date: August 15th)

Taali, JioCinema’s new series of August 2023 is one of the highly anticipated OTT releases of this month. With Sushmita Sen’s much-awaited comeback and a powerful storyline based on the real life of the trans activist Shreegauri Sawant. Shreegauri Sawant became the first transgender person in 2014 to file a petition to the Supreme Court for the adoption rights of transgender people and her life has been full of ups and downs. Fans and movie lovers have high hopes for Taali to deliver not only a gripping story & plot but a cinematic spectacular.

Aaj Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai, JioCinema Upcoming Movie (Release Date: August 5th)

Aaj Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai is an OTT release of the first week of the month on JioCinema. The film was first released in 2022 and is now streaming on OTT from August 5th. It is a Bhojpuri film starring Pawan Sing, a popular actor in Bihar. The movie is a tale of unbreakable bonds of love, family, and trust, in the language of an “egoistic lover” said the official movie description by JioCinema.

Kaalkoot, is probably one of the best OTT releases of the month of July. The TV show has been making a name for itself on everyone’s lips ever since the first trailer was released. Kaalkoot is a gripping story about an inspector who is a man of the system (justice & law). He is set on a mission to discover the truth behind a tragic case of a young girl who has acid thrown on her face. The TV show does an impressive job of portraying gender bias and the patriarchy of society.

Another new OTT release of the month of July on JioCinema, One Friday Night is a suspense thriller drama film starring Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman, and Vidhi Chitalia. The film is based on Ram Varma, a married man who has an affair with a younger woman. Due to the play of certain events, Ram Varma’s wife gets to know about her husband’s affair. But wait, the suspense begins here.

The JioCinema’s new movie, One Friday Night has received average reviews from critics. Though to truly tell if One Friday Night is worth watching or not, you’d need to watch it yourself on JioCinema.

Appatha, a new OTT release of the month July is a comedy-drama tale of Kannamma, a lady leading a simple life selling pickles and who has a fear of dogs and is forced to take care of her son’s pet in his absence. The movie is also said to beautifully delve into challenges faced by elderly people in old age. The movie is available to watch in Tamil language and so far has been able to garner positive reviews.
