If you compare Jio’s ₹899 Diwali plan with the ₹889 plan, the ₹899 plan offers 0.5GB extra data daily, plus JioSaavn Pro and shopping vouchers—making it worth the extra ₹10. However, if saving ₹100 matters more, the ₹799 plan offers 1.5GB/day with nearly the same benefits, minus the shopping vouchers.

We have seen some reports online claiming that as part of the Diwali Dhamaka Offer on Jio, the telco giant has launched a “new” Jio Diwali ₹153 plan but note that this is untrue.

The ₹153 mobile recharge plan is specifically for JioPhone users and promises 28 days validity, 0.5GB data per day benefit (14GB in total) + 1 GB extra free. However, this is not a “new Jio Diwali plan” of 2024 but rather an old plan that has existed long before.
