HDFC Tata Neu Card users alert! List of changes from August 1st, 2024

HDFC Tata Neu Credit Card users, get ready to see new changes in how you earn NeuCoins starting August 1st, 2024. HDFC, a leading credit card issuer in the country with over 1.78 crore credit cards hasn’t shared any devaluation news unlike its competitors Axis Bank credit cards devaluation in 2024 or IDFC First Bank credit card recent devaluation. As opposed to the fear of several users, the upcoming changes in HDFC Tata Neu Card from August 1st, 2024 aren’t really something to worry about. But there sure are some important changes you need to know.

So here’s a list of changes in HDFC Tata Neu Credit Cards starting August 1st, 2024 that you need to know.

HDFC Tata Neu Card new changes starting from August 1st, 2024 are as follows:

• 1.5 % back as NeuCoins on eligible UPI transactions made using your Tata Neu UPI ID.

• 0.50 % back as NeuCoins on other eligible UPI ID transactions.

• Total NeuCoins earned on eligible UPI transactions are capped to 500 NeuCoins per calendar month.

As you can see above, starting from 1st of August, HDFC Tata Neu users will be eligible to receive 1.5% cashback as NeuCoins on UPI transactions made using the Tata Neu app with a Tata Neu UPI ID. For other UPI transactions made through third-party apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm, users will be eligible to earn 0.5% cashback as NeuCoins.

The Tata Neu Coins earned per month are also capped at 500 total NeuCoins. Note that this limit is only applicable for NeuCoins earned through UPI transactions.

Currently, every 1 NeuCoin is equal to ₹1. The conversion ratio here is 1:1 which is pretty good if you ask us.

Starting from 1st August, HDFC Tata Neu Plus credit cards will also earn 1% NeuCoins on eligible UPI transactions made exclusively using Tata Neu UPI ID. For other eligible UPI transactions, you will earn 0.25% NeuCoins. The same cap of 500 NeuCoins also applies.

HDFC in collaboration with Tata Neu launched its co-branded HDFC Tata Neu credit cards (Infinity and Plus variants) last year. Also, do note that Tata NeuCoins rewards on partner brands like BigBasket, Croma, TataCliq, Tata 1mg, Tanishq, Fastrack, Westside will still earn 5% and 2% rewards for Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card and Tata Neu Plus Credit Card, respectively.
