Flipkart Super.money UPI app launched, benefits & how to download

Flipkart, the Walmart-owned e-commerce retailer in India has launched Super.money UPI app by Flipkart in India. Back in March 2024, Flipkart launched its Flipkart UPI feature on its app. The move was said to be in alignment with the staggering growth of UPI payments in the country totaling to over 117 billion transactions worth INR 182.84 trillion in the year 2023. Now, Flipkart has launched Flipkart Super.money UPI app which promises to earn users rewards of up to 5% cashback every time.

Flipkart has pretty silently launched its brand new Super.money UPI app in India. The listing on Google Play Store reads the following:

“superUPI: No useless rewards. Just real cashback. Know that feeling of finding Rs. 5 in your sofa when you least expect it? That’s superUPI for you 💁‍♀️”

So as per the Play Store listing, it seems like Flipkart Super.money UPI is not planning to join the likes of Google Pay, Phonepe, Paytm, Cred or other UPI platforms that mostly offer rewards like brand discount vouchers instead of real cashback.

Flipkart UPI app, Super.money however promises (or better say, pink promises) to do the opposite of what most UPI apps does today:

“Unlike other UPI apps, we’ll never offer you useless coupons, scratch cards or coins. Instead, get used to up to 5% cashback on every transaction. Every 👏 Single 👏 Time! Pinky swear.” says Flipkart

With the new Flipkart Super.money UPI app launch, the online retailer also plans to bring superCard, a credit card made in partnership with the Utkarsh Small Finance Bank. There are also other upcoming features in the Super.money UPI apps such as pre-approved loans and SuperDeposit which would allow users to deposit their money starting ₹100 and earn an interest of up to 9%.
