Reliance Jio which is currently at the time of writing this article is in talks to launch its 5G services in India offers some considerable annual Jio prepaid plans recharge starting from Rs.2,545 to ranging as high as Rs.4,199. After the 20% hike in its recharge plans, the telecom operator may increase the prices once again by Diwali 2022 as per a few reports.

The Jio Rs.2545 annual prepaid plan is a long-term prepaid plan that comes with a 336 days validity period, 1.5GB data per day limit and a total data of 504 GB. Apart from this, the brand also offers subscriptions to its subsidiary services like JioTV, JioSecurity, JioCinema, and JioCloud. All of these services are available free of cost to Jio users. You also get unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMS/day limit.

How to recharge for this plan: You can recharge for this Jio prepaid plan through the Reliance Jio website, Jio’s very own application, MyJio App or you can also recharge through other third-party service providers to get additional cashback or reward benefits as applicable.

Standing next to Airtel's 2GB data annual prepaid plan, Jio’s Rs.2,879 is approximately Rs.221 cheaper than Airtel’s. Jio users with this long-term plan can get 2 GB data per day, a total of 730 GB per month limit. On recharging, users will also receive complimentary access to the same Jio subscriptions as the previous Rs.2545 prepaid plan which includes JioTV, JioSecurity, JioCinema, and JioCloud. However, unlike the previous plan, this Jio Rs.2879 plan comes with a 365 days validity. Users can also receive unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMS/day limit.

How to recharge for this plan: To recharge for the Jio Rs.2,879 annual prepaid plan, one can visit the Reliance Jio website, MyJio App or use third-party services such as Google Pay, Paytm or others.

Matching the Rs.3359 plan of Airtel offering complimentary Disney Hotstar 1 year free subscription, Jio offers a Rs.2999 annual prepaid plan which also offers complimentary OTT subscription to Disney Plus Hotstar. You also get access to JioTV, JioSecurity, JioCinema, and JioCloud. Similar to other Jio long-term prepaid plans, this also comes with a 365 days validity. Users can also receive unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMS/day limit and get 2.5 GB data to use per day.

How to recharge for this plan: To recharge for the Jio Rs.2,999 annual prepaid plan, you can visit the Reliance Jio website, MyJio App or use third-party service providers.

The highest-priced prepaid plan of Jio is the Rs.4,199 annual plan which comes with an OTT subscription to Disney+Hotstar. The data benefits you get with this plan is the highest, 3 GB per day limit. If you have high mobile data consumption and do not have any wifi or other broadband connection to use, this plan may be a good fit for you.

However, we would suggest that if you have data consumption of more than 3 GB data per day and you need a faster connection to share large-size files or download large files, you can rather set up a wifi router, buy a Jiofi which is Jio’s portable wifi hotspot or you can opt for a Jio Fiber connection.

How to recharge for this plan: To recharge the Rs.4,199 plan of Jio, you would either need to use the MyJio App or a third-party service such as Google Pay as recharge for this plan is currently unavailable on Reliance Jio’s official website.
