Unfortunately the movie goers habits got changed. The high prices killed movies by 75%. Isstead of family of 4 going to movie with 400+ taxes + transportation, they simply buy their desired OTT subscription for 3 months or so and watch happily.
These offers and special days keep coming.
Modi is watching and soon 18% GST on ott is inevitable.
Largely true. However, as long as there are countless people in this country who idolize their favorite actors and actresses, I believe cinema halls will continue to be filled. GST on OTT is definitely a possibility in the near future especially as these platforms move more towards ad revenue.
