Bajaj CNG Bike Launch Date in India: When is the new Bajaj Bruzer CNG launching?

Bajaj CNG bike is all set to launch in India on June 18th, 2024. The launch date of the Baja Bruzer CNG motorcycle was confirmed by the managing director of Bajaj Auto, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj during a launch event for the Pulsar NS400Z.

Earlier a month before, the MD of Bajaj Auto was seen giving an interview to a media house about the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike, he said: “Within the calendar year 2025, we hope(d) to be the first in the world to launch such a motorcycle but today I'm going to tell you we are so encouraged by the results we've seen from the testing that we are actually able to prepone that by a whole year so within this calendar year 2024 in the very near future, we will launch the world's first CNG motorcycle.”

What we know so far about the Bajaj CNG Bike Mileage & Tank Capacity

Speaking about what the Bajaj CNG bike mileage & tank capacity might be, he said, “Equally it promises to do what Hero Honda did 40 years ago which was effectively to double mileage or to half the cost of fuel for the ordinary consumer which I think you know is a fantastic drastic impact on on the wallet of those consumers.”

Currently in most states and cities, fuel or petrol is approx 35% to 45% more expensive than CNG. So the savings with using a CNG bike is of course going to be an important impact.

The exact details of the Bajaj CNG bike mileage aren’t out yet however, the bike is likely to be based on the Bajaj 125 CC bike engine. Being a CNG motorcycle, the upcoming Bajaj Bruzer would be more efficient & can travel further.

As for the tank capacity, there are no details announced about the Bajaj Bruzer CNG tank capacity.

Notably though, the Bajaj CNG bike is going to be bi-fuel so expect India’s first CNG bike to run on both CNG and petrol.
