• Scroll down a bit, and notice “Sold by” written right below the “Buy Now” button

• Click on the seller name to check seller’s ratings

This one Amazon shopping tip or trick (whatever you wish to call it) will help you save your hard earned money a lot. We all know paying insurance premiums, broadband bills, mobile bills, electricity bills, property taxes cost us a bank and often doesn’t yield any rewards or cashback. But here’s an Amazon trick to help you earn cashback even on bill payments.

• First, buy an Amazon Pay gift voucher at a good discount - Ex: Using SBI Cashback credit card (5% cashback).

• Next, redeem the the gift card and add it to your APay balance

• Use your APay balance to pay your electricity bills, property taxes, broadband bills, electricity bills and more.

• For property taxes, insurance bills, electricity bill payments, first check if the biller is listed on Amazon Pay or not

If you do not have SBI Cashback Card, you can also use APay ICICI Credit Card (LTF) to get 2% cashback on paying bills via Amazon.

This is one of the simplest ways to save your money on paying bills online. Amazon shopping hacks like these don’t always last for long so be sure to use it while it is there.

Important note: Earlier this year, Amazon ended partial wallet payments meaning you cannot make a combined payment of APay wallet balance + credit card. You can only use one of those at a time. So keep that in mind while shopping for Apay vouchers for paying bills.

Amazon uses Browse Nodes to categorize products meaning every category on Amazon, be it smartphones, televisions, cleaning & household items, fashion, etc is represented by a unique node. You can easily find this node number/code mentioned in almost every category URL. For example, this is an Amazon URL for tablets category >> https://www.amazon.in/s?rh=n%3A1375458031%2Cp_8%3A40-100

The node 1375458031 is the node number and at the end, the “40-100” mentioned is the discount percentage. What this means is that this special URL will show all tablet deals with 40% to 100% discount (largely). You can replace the node number with any other category node and tweak the discount % as per your choice to find an Amazon deal quickly.

• Node: This represents the category ID (called the "node number")

• pct-off=x-y: This filters products that have a percentage discount between x% and y% off the original price.

• Visit Amazon >>> visit a category (books, smartphones, etc)

• Locate the "node number" from the category URL (usually mentioned after “n%3A”)

• Plug the node number & discount percentage into the URL:http://www.amazon.in/gp/search/?node=nodenumber...

After the results are displayed, you can further filter the results (e.g., by setting "Amazon Fulfilled" or sorting by price).

Amazon Prime which presently costs ₹1499 for 12-months launched some cheaper versions of Amazon Prime such as Prime Shopping Edition & Prime Shopping Lite for those who want to avail Prime benefits such as free deliveries, 5% unlimited cashback, early sale access, etc but can compromise on a few other benefits such as Prime Video. The trick to get Amazon Prime for free is pretty simple.
