Amazon India has launched the “Amazon Clinic” service that offers doctor consultations starting from ₹299 and the added benefit is that you get a follow-up period of 7 days at no extra fee or cost. In this article, find out details such as What is Amazon Clinic, How does Amazon Clinic work? Amazon Clinic pricing and charges.

Amazon Clinic Launched! Consultation starts ₹299 & No Follow-up Fee

Amazon which was earlier in rumour to enter the 10-minute grocery delivery segment by the first quarter of 2025 has now launched a new service on its platform called “Amazon Clinic.”

.

What is Amazon Clinic?

Amazon Clinic is a virtual care service that offers doctors consultations for more than 20+ health conditions from qualified and licensed clinicians online via text messages & video calls. Some of the types of consultations available are General Physician, Dermatologist, Gynaecologist, Pediatrician, Nutritionist & Counsellor. The consultations start from ₹299 and give customers a 7-day free follow-up period.

A point to note is that India is not the first country & nor the only country to have Amazon Clinic service.

Amazon launched Amazon Clinic in the US back in the year 2022 and by August 2023, the e-commerce giant has expanded the service to over 50 states in the country.

Amazon Clinic Doctor’s Consultations Prices Start from ₹299 with No Follow-up Fee for 7 Days

Amazon Clinic doctor consultation prices start from as low as ₹299 and that seems like the industry standard especially compared to online doctor consultation services such as MediBuddy. Moreover, customers can save more using MediBuddy offers & coupons.

If you get lucky (and are a DesiDime user), you can even grab a MediBuddy Membership for Free (almost) via deals like these:

(Benefits include: Unlimited doctor’s consultation for the entire family in 22+ specialities)

Coming back to Amazon Clinic doctor consultation prices and timings, a doctor consultation price for a Counsellor starts from ₹499, a Dermatologist from ₹399, a Pediatrician from ₹399, a General Physician from ₹299 and lastly, Obstetrician-Gynaecologist & Dietician from ₹399.

Customers can use credit cards, debit cards, and UPI to pay for the consultation. Moreover, keep in mind the fee is non-refundable.

The consultation can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the requirement.

The timings for doctor consultations at Amazon Clinic are Monday to Saturday, 06:00 AM to Midnight for General Physicians and 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM for Specialists.

The 7-day free follow-up with your consulted doctor will be via text message.

So this was all about sharing all that we know so far about Amazon Clinic's launch in India. Doctors seem to be available within 10 minutes so if you need to consult a doctor on the go and do not wish to physically visit your doctor, you can consider getting an online consultation.

Amazon also mentions in their terms and conditions that the Amazon Clinic service is not for “Emergency treatments” so keep in mind to use the service only when you think you can be treated well online.

Let’s see how Amazon Clinic performs amidst other competitors such as MediBuddy, Apollo 247, Practo, DocGenie, Healthians & others

right, if we get some real user reviews on those consultations, it can be a very well-placed proposition for Amazon (pricing-wise)
