Airtel 1499 Prepaid Plan with Netflix

The Airtel ₹1499 Prepaid Plan entitles you to Unlimited Local STD & Roaming calls, 3 GB Data Per Day, 100 SMS Per Day, and 84 Days Validity. On the rewards front you get Unlimited 5G Data, Free Hellotunes, Wynk Music, Apollo 24|7 Circle 3 months membership, and a Netflix Basic 3 months (84 days) subscription.

Airtel Netflix offer 2023

The Netflix Basic plan includes Unlimited ad-free movies, TV shows, and mobile games. You can Watch and Download (HD) on 1 supported device at a time. It is priced at ₹199/month so this Airtel Netflix offer 2023 gets you benefits worth ₹600. Moreover, you can save via Airtel Recharge Coupons.

How to Activate Netflix on Airtel Prepaid?
  1. Create Netflix account via email (if not created)
  2. Add your Airtel mobile number in your Netflix account
  3. Recharge with 1499 plan
  4. You will get the Netflix subscription activation link via SMS, click on it to activate (make sure you are signed-in to your Netflix account).

You can watch Netflix on any network so it is not compulsory to stream via Airtel mobile data.

Is the Netflix Airtel 1499 Plan worth it?

If you exclude Netflix then this plan comes out to be of ₹900 i.e. ₹300 per month (28 days). For a 3GB/day unlimited monthly (28 days) plan, Airtel charges ₹400 i.e. ₹1200 for 3 months (84 days) so with this 1499 plan you save ₹300. Make a note that Airtel does not have any 3GB/day unlimited 84 days plan without any OTT subscription benefit. Therefore, the Airtel 1499 prepaid recharge plan is a good one for Netflix lovers.

Do people really need 3GB per day if they have Unlimited Broadband at home? I generally go for a recharge without unlimited calling and with lumpsum data which can be used during the recharge duration. Only need it when I am travelling to office home etc. Of course if you are going out for few days then you can do a topup. From that point of view even 300 per month is high.

Airtel making fool again

in 458 plan we get Unlimited 5G data and if I buy Netflix separately then 600 for 3 months straight away approx. 500 profit

Even who has 4g handset can get 719 plan + 3 months plan here also approx. 200 profit

If we get a Netflix plan with Airtel, it will work only on the Airtel network, I think, which means you can watch very little content, whereas if we watch separately, we can watch with no limit.
