As you can see, Airtel is offering a much better value for money family postpaid plans. Also, some of the Airtel Family Plans such as the 799 Airtel postpaid plan comes under the Airtel Black Plans which offers additional DTH benefits. As compared to Reliance Jio, Airtel Family Postpaid Plans also offer limited free add-ons.

Airtel was the original in offering family plan, since many years, even before the launch of Jio postpaid. I personally have Airtel family plan since 2017. So it cannot be said that their offerings are in reaction to Jio. Or course, there has been changes from time to time in the composition of the plans they offer.
