Although we all predicted that Reliance Jio will be the first Internet Service provider to launch 5G in India, Airtel has claimed the title by launching 5G first in the 8 cities that we have mentioned above. Compared to the 4 cities that will get to see Reliance Jio’s 5G network first, the list of 8 eligible cities by Airtel is just double what Jio has planned.

• A 5G smartphone (More 5G bands, the better)

• Location: You need to be present in any of these 8 cities to use Airtel 5G: Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Varanasi, Nagpur, and Siliguri.
