Air India which is now resuming its flights over Iran-Israel airspace from May 16 has now reduced the free check-in luggage allowance for its lowest economy class fare segment for domestic flights. Earlier Air India baggage allowance was 20Kg for Comfort class domestic flights. The same has now been revised to 15Kgs. The new Air India flight luggage limits will be effective from May 2nd. Air India currently has 4 cabin class categories namely Economy, Premium Economy, Business & First. Each of these cabin classes further has sub-classes or brands such as Economy Comfort, Economy Comfort Plus and so on.

The price of the Air India Economy Class Comfort brand (BOM to DEL) one-way ticket starts at Rs.5363 which includes complimentary meals and free check-in luggage of 15 kg. While the same ticket with Comfort Plus brand costs ₹525 extra, and comes with the same luggage limit of 15 kg. However, it does come with no change fee till 72 Hours.
The Flex brand of Economy for the same destination costs Rs.6938 and comes with a 10 Kg extra baggage allowance & zero cancel & refund fees till 72 hours. So if you are planning to travel from Air India and have more luggage needs, it might be worth investing in the Economy Flex brand ticket.
