Please before disliking the thread read it properly. Many Indians don’t read the issue or news properly and start abusing and fighting. Don’t make it like a Snapchat and Snapdeal like misunderstanding.
1) Since last 2 years every other day I hear news so so army men has been martyred. Today 24 CRPF men has been killed by Naxals
2) Many times I have read there were 2 terrorist hiding in Kashmir and are surrounded my 50 or 100 army men but still 2 T have killed many army men. Why are they not taking proper cover? and find it difficult to kill 2 terrorists with so many advanced arms and ammunition with us?
3) 3 months back 3 militants were holed up in big building in Kashmir. Our 100 army men took 3 days to kill them in the building. After 15 days other 4 terrorists again holed up in the same building and again our 100 army men took 3, 4 days to kill them and funny thing is they were mindlessly bombarding the whole building from outside and wasted lots and lots of bullets and bombs and still they took 4 days to kill them? Why there was no good planning to enter inside and finish the operation ASAP? as they already knew the building was attacked 15 days before? check the image of the building here how operation was carried out mindlessly > http://o.aolcdn.com/images/dims?thumbnail=2000%...
4) Modi went to Pakistan for friendship and peace and other day 4 Pakistani terrorist entered Pathankot airbase, they killed many of our army men and our army took 3, 4 days to kill them. There was news our Indian army were using thermal sensors from helicopters which can easily detect where person is hiding. Seriously they were using this ? and again we have drones and many others advanced systems and tools and still we need freaking 3, 4 days to catch 4 militants?
5) Then we hear news like so so terrorists have entered India through LOC and international borders from Pakistan. We have thermal sensors on our borders, more than 10 lakh army men and various systems to detect any movements and still many Pakistani terrorists easily enters our country and kill many army men.
6) Everyone knows how many days these army men took to flush out terrorists during Mumbai attacks.
7) Then we have Naxals in our country which kills 10, 20 army man every month. Why can’t our army men conduct a big operation to flush this Naxals out for once and all just like how it was done in SriLanka and how Veerapan was finished?
8) Then we have Pakistan violating ceasefire every month on LOC to push terrorists and in the process they always kill our army men, villagers and many animals. Why our army men can’t give a befitting reply to these Pakistani army so they don’t even dare to watch our army men from other side of the border?
9) Pakistan is such a small country compared to ours, they have started a “Zarb e Azab” operation in which they are targeting militants in whole country which are bad terrrorists for them. Their army men have managed to kill more than 10,000 millitants till now in this Ops and have caught many and have hanged them within 1 year under their army court. Why can’t our army men start such operation against Naxals? or Kashmiri and Pakistani militants?
10) There were many terrorist attacks on Pakistani schools, hospitals, army base, airports, Masjids, etc within last 3 years and every time their army guys have killed the terrorists within 1 hour
11) Even in Paris and other European attacks their respective army guys have killed the terrorists within 1 hour.
12) We Indians boasts how our Indian army is the third largest army in the world but sadly their performances are far below than even a small country like Pakistan Why they take 4 days to kill 2 terrorists most of the time ? why ? why? why? why? Why small country like Pakistan is not afraid of us and kill our Army men at border.
I love our India army, my heart breaks whenever I hear news like so so army men has been killed in terrorist attacks but it also angers me how they lack in planning, strategy and thinking for any operation and are getting killed mindlessly every other day. Just imagine what may go through the family members of this martyred army men.
Our government pays 3 or 4 lakhs to their family members, just imagine how they can manage their whole life using this 4 lakhs? On the other side if a cricketer wins a silly tournaments he is paid in crores. PV Sindhu received 20 crores and many land properties from government and various politicians for winning a Olympic silver medal and they find it difficult to even pay 3 lakhs to our army men which is paid after 3 or 4 years Why our Army Head or whole department is not reviewing this mindless deaths? and planning something new, teaching newer techniques or learning from Israel or Russia army?
What you guys think about this mindless deaths of our army men every other day? Don’t you think there is some problem in our army system and they lack some planning and execution? or they are still trained with old style and techniques? What are your suggestions for improvements?

You are right but why they are getting killed in lot while targeting 2 terrorists or why they take 3 or 4 days to kill just 2 terrorists. Also while following war ethics we can give befitting reply to Pakistan when they violates ceasefire but we don’t and end up with many martyred soldiers. Following war ethics doesn’t mean we shouldn’t plan anything and end up getting killed every other day.
reason is india fooled kashmir people, so kashmir people support (not all, but atleast few) pakistan or not support both india/pakistan.
Kashmir dont want india or pakistan, but both countries need kashmir and both have few parts of land and making kashmir peaceless place, india government spending millions just to hide its role.
Offtopic:
Kahmir people is clear about how to face and solve the problem, but no body (india/pakistan) is not ready to support the solution because then there is no JOB for military and no problem for politicians to rule, but thats the truth..
dude read the thread carefully, u r commenting something else and which is not relating to the topic
Weak = No
Trained = yes
Poor Equipment = 100% yes
Main problem is Government bhecho chakke ban jate hai kuch Vote ke liye
Give Army freehand and see All kashmiri terrorists will be disappeared
And this terrorists in chattisgadh should be bombed
This is very much wrong. Our army has various advanced equipments. Please check my point 3) and let me know if they still need 4 days? and whether gov. is responsible for our army taking 4 days or getting killed by them? We Indians always blame our gov. for our army death but never raise a single finger on our army for their bad strategies and planning. Because of which our army is not improving.
reason- common people and neta hr kisi ka dhyan sirf kashmir pe rehta hai bs, agar wha kuch atanki ko maar diya to hmari army bhut strong hai (problem yhi hai bs jo dikha diya whi maan liya)
else jo ander atanki/ugrawadi/maowadi/etc hai unpe to dhyan hi nhi jata, jb koi soldier kill hota hai tb mloom hota hai ki yh bhi problem hai(wo bhi on temporary base)
common people ki common problem- oh, so sad, chlo aaj mombatti lekar road pe sham ko tehlenge , selfie lenge,…… bs agle din unko bhi nhi mlom ki kl kiya kya/kyo tha
neta problem- ghar sambhale, desh sambhale, paisa sambhale corruption se jo mila hai, tax chorikre, bhut kaam hai, soldier problem ke liye half hour debate krlenge bs wo bhi senseless wali
I was almost tempted to downvote this thread.
Reason: The title of this thread.

There could be various reasons for your concern. But Indian Army being weak/untrained is definitely not one of them.
Most of your concern is revolved around one aspect : Slow or unsatisfactory action.
I think the main reason could be the complexity of our army. ( A huge organization is often very complex to manage.. Ex: Indian Railways )
Before firing a bullet a soldier needs to get permission from his seniors.. they need permission from their seniors,, and ultimately permission from government is required. Hence, our reaction time is often slower.
In china government is divided into 4 parts. Military is one of them and hence they can take decisions faster.
Pakistan’s military also works independent from the government. ( Btw, They don’t listen to each other.. )
You might be aware about the Sino-Indian war.. how we lost to china as our army didn’t had the order to use Fighter Planes.
good thread bro… reason for most of killings of our soldiers is not due to poor equipment, or disturbances
reason is in army’s training & its use. army soldiers/crpf soldiers are trained to kill , in exrtreme conditions.after 1989, army is used extensively in kashmir, northeast & naxal areas. it took many years to train army units to different conditions for combat. also it has main disadvantage that, it may forget its own main function that to kill till death. crpf & paramilitary forces are built from this conditions. also recruit is always not from same background. rules was loosened many a times for locals involvement to use them against naxals & also to weaken naxal movement. further crpf/paramilitary forces doesn’t have right to kill first on suspicion. U said , helicopter & other powerful equipments why not used to take them down?? well, this answer is given by our political leadership several times that, how will country use its own army to kill its own men…. para/army many a times requested air strike or atleast moderate attacks by air but denied everytime.
also naxals have supporters in media, political parties & locals. so to nullify them, political as well as police action is necessary. it will take time & considering our system , it may take another 15-20 years but it will succeed definately.
kashmir.. is everyone’s darling issue but to refrain my comment only about army… i’ll say army is doing greatest & toughest job in kashmir. after so many humiliations , killings still aur ARMY is in discipline. beside so many disturbances, no human rights violation have been done still by any soldier… to my knowledge. ( and its hindu majority army!!!)
poor equipment & other disturbances are there, but still they are doing great. regarding free hand by politicians, i think what we have been seeing in kashmir in last 1 year its completely different. we have never seen so many protests, stone peltering , burning houses of security personels in kashmir… so it must be ground is shaking. either government/IB/RAW playing their games. Bangladesh freed in 13 days but before that, 4-5 years have been spent by intelligence agencies to weaken pakistani control. Kashmir is altogether different & truly international issue for many. its attached also with Jihad & Jamhooriyat & all nonsense. so it requires a unique solution. AB Vajpayee gave solution but pakistan denied it, so may be BJP & Namo doing it hard way.
offtopic: Kulbhushan Jadhav is retired navy officer of senior rank. what was he doing in iran & baluchistan??? will india derail CPEC of pakistan? answer is definately yes…. RAW is way better than ISI, .
in short, instead criticise army we have to deal with our media & politicians (like his highness arvind kejriwal) who many times try to bring political agenda on every issue.
p.s i’m namo supporter but not bjp fan. thanks
Today again 3 army jawans martyred. Hope people will not blame politicians this time and also stone pelters came late in the action. This is again big big failure from army side as they are not having any strategy or planning to prevent such attack. They are working as headless institution which is why army men are getting killed every other day. I am not going to argue with anyone whether it is army’s fault or politician’s. I will just update this thread every time there is an attack to check how much we are improving or going backward and how much more we need to do.
Update
24th April 2017: Sukma, Chhattisgarh : 25 CRPF men martyred, 6 injured
27th April 2017: Kupwara Jammu and Kashmir: 3 armymen martyred, 7 injured, 2 terrorist killed, 1 escaped
Total: 28 martyred, 13 injured
someone has come to die with explosive belts around his waist sufficient enough to kill at least 20-30 peoples in its killing area and we still survived with 2-3 casualties…even when there are 2-3 terrorists with belt around their waist and ready to meet hoors…
LONG LIVE MY ARMY AND CAPT AYUSH YADAV , 25 , WHO LAID HIS LIFE FOR THIS NATION AND PEOPLE ARE MOURNING FOR 70 YEARS REEL HERO THAN A REAL 25 YEAR HERO..
You fail as a nation when 70 years old #VinodKhanna is mourned much more than 25 years old Capt Ayush Yadav who lost his life at #Kupwara
How Captain Ayush Yadav prevented militants from reaching living quarters
By Tariq Bhat | April 27, 2017 twitterlinkedingooglefacebook
In a typical commando style, three armed militants descended down the wooded mountains and tip-toed towards the Army garrison at Panzgam in Kupwara at 4.30 am on Thursday. When they began cutting the fence, soldiers on duty challenged them. The three militants had not expected this. They fired at the guards and tried to rush towards the living quarters.
Captain Ayush Yadav was woken up by the deafening sound of the gunfire. He sensed something ominous. He threw his blanket away, grabbed his AK 47 and rushed out. The militants were inching towards the living quarters. The young captain charged at the militants and halted the three in their tracks. The young officer was hit with bullets but he held on and didn’t allow the militants to proceed.
That gave enough time for the troops to retaliate and pin down the militants. Yadav died but prevented the militants from reaching the sleeping soldiers.
“Captian Yadav was martyred while preventing the militants from reaching the living quarters,” said Colonel Surav Joshi after the encounter ended. Two militants and three army personal including Yadav were killed.
“The attack took place at 4.30 am when two to three militants attacked the garrison.” Joshi said the militants were detected when they were cutting the fence.
He said the soldiers guarding the sprawling camp fired at the militants and fierce gunfight ensued.
“Taking advantage of the darkness, the militants tried to move towards the living quarters but heavy volume of fire by the quick reaction team (QRT) pinned them down and forced them run towards the exit.
“Through out the operation, the militants were prevented from reaching the living area by accurate and heavy volume of fire from all directions,” Joshi said.
Gunner Rishi Kumar of Field Artillery Regiment was on sentry duty when the fire fight started. He observed the terrorists approach and waited for them to come within close range. He then engaged them and was hit on his head but was saved by bullet proof patka. However, the whiplash of the impact caused him to fall down. He immediately recovered and fired back to kill the two terrorists.
Running out of ammunition he moved out of his bunker and tried to pick the weapon of the slain terrorists to engage the third. The third terrorist fired and injured him thus managing to escape. Rishi Kumar is from Ara, Bihar and has 8 years of service.
Dawn was still 90 minutes away when the firefight began. By first light, the fire from the militants had died down.
During the combing operations, the bodies of two militants were recovered. Five other soldiers were injured and airlifted to Srinagar Army hospital. But Yadav could not survive and died as gunfire reverberated in the camp.
The Army recovered a huge cache of ammunition and three AK 47 rifles which indicated the presence of a third militants. Joshi said the third militant was injured in the encounter and he escaped. Nine magazines, two radio sets and one smart phone were also recovered from the spot.
“We have launched a search operation in the adjacent villages to look for him,” he said.
He said the operation lasted only 35 minutes and the Army succeeded in preventing the militants from attacking the living quarters.
While the firefight was on, residents from several villages assembled close to the garrison and started shouting slogans in favour of the militants. They pelted stones at the troops guarding the garrison. One civilian was killed and three others injured after army allegedly opened fire on the protesters.
This is the first fidayeen attack this year and the first major attack after the Uri attack in September, 2016. The Uri attack had led Indian forces to conduct surgical strike along the border in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
Govt. Policy is the most responsible constraint.
whether its UPA, NDA or if u go back to initial days after Independence, India never had aggressive military policy and will never be.
Isn’t it easy and child’s play for Pakistan army to violate ceasefire, cross the LOC, kill Indian army men and cut them into many pieces and then cut the head and take it away with them? If someone is killing your family member by planning something and then killing other members again and again with same plans, and family have no clue what to do, no plans to take appropriate actions and stop this, then what can be said for this?. Mindboggling, Isn’t it? They don’t plan anything and just say “We will take revenge” “We will take revenge” Wakeup my army men Wake Up!!!

It’s been 20 days now still our army men didn’t take any revenge and waiting for terrorists and Pakistani army to open fire on them. As a result few terrorists entered India and killed 3 army men in 48 hours.
