I am creating this thread as a placeholder for me and others to suggest new features and highlight existing bugs on this site.
Bug
When quoting a post which contains an HTML list created using the shorthand hash (#) symbol, the template engine at DD fails to convert the hash symbol to the format of an ordered list. Example: http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...

I am seeing “Already added to your channel” for every deal — even the ones I opened for the first time! And even for this thread.
Please investigate and fix on priority so I can actually send an alert for a deal if the need arises. @admin @MJ911

Clear your browser’s data/cookies. The issue got resolved for me when I checked after @bumblefoot ’s response.

For the last few weeks, I have been noticing that some deals get incorrectly tagged with the merchant Niki. Seems like there is some issue in the automatic merchant tagging feature. Please investigate and fix. Example: http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...

many posts are auto tagged to this.App main screen showing Niki App deal & fashion bazaar deals as sticky deals.
Any new fpd appears after these on App main screen.
Is it desired change or bug?

WHEN SOMEONE TAGGED THAN THAT SPECIFICPAGE MUST BE OPEN WHERE TAG IS DONE
IF TAGs ARE DONE AGAIN AND AGAIN THAN THEYBECOME SO LONG OPTION MUST BE THERE TOSPLIT IT INTO PARTS

Most of the images hosted on your CDN are not opening. Also, the chat functionality is completely non-functional right now. I can see that some users have messaged me. However, clicking on the username on the left pane doesn’t open the message on the right plane, which stays empty no matter where you click. This started happening about 2 hours ago. I hope somebody is working on fixing this.

No, the site is opening and working fine now. Later in the night yesterday, I discovered that your CDN was acting up with my JIO connection as the site worked fine when accessed via my Docomo 3G (same device & browser). This was yet another time when I noticed issues with your CDN (routing/load balancing?) with certain ISPs at certain times. So please look into it.
@admin @siddharthd @MJ911 Problem with the chat feature. The message doesn’t disappear from the send box after hitting Enter/Send but it does get sent properly. So I am being forced to manually delete the previous message from the Send box before typing a new one.

This is relating to chat
1. When I press send the message displays on screen as sent from my side, however it doesn’t reach. One can hit send then go back and go again to chat and u will see msg sent disappeared and didn’t reach
2. Sometimes some msg sent keeps on getting send again and again automatically.
Eg – I send Hi, then Hi Is sent again and again within intervals of time say at 5 mins, nxt in 2 mins,nxt in 7mins etc..random

@admin Please fix the CDN issue! I am sick and tired of the non-functioning website again and again. I am literally gnashing my teeth as I am writing this.
Everyday, I am facing this loading issue where the page load would never complete and get stuck on “Transferring data from cdn0.desidime.com…”. Clicking on the notifications icon at the top of the page takes me to the notifications page instead of showing the notifications in a popup. The same behavior applies to the edit, reply, etc. links. Sometimes I am unable to even get the onclick menu for more deal actions like “add to channel”. Don’t even get me started on the chat feature, which rarely works.
Once again, this happens when I am browsing DD from my Jio connection (works fine for all the other sites I visit), which has become my primary internet provider at home. CC @MJ911

@admin hi admin i am not able to change my mobile number. When i change my mobile number that i am using then it says that mobile number already taken. Wheras the account associated with the number is banned hence i cannot unlink it . Request you to kindly unlink my mobile number from a banned account

Bug
I get logged out automatically after a few minutes every time I try to browse DD through my iPad (Safari on iOS 9.3.5). I haven’t been able to pin point exactly what triggers this, but I think it happens when I try to open DD links (tags/likes) across multiple tabs in the incognito/private mode. Note that I initiate the session itself in the private mode (just making it clear so you don’t think I am being dumb).
Also, this is NOT a new bug. This started happening a few months ago, but I didn’t bother to highlight it because I rarely browse DD from that iPad and because I thought that the bug would get resolved in your next batch of website updates. CC @raghupro

Unable to format text with CSS styles without breaking the page layout. This started happening about a week ago.
Most importantly, existing deals with CSS styles applied to them are also broken.

Also, I dislike the new limited edit option very much! Seems to be a classic case of making a simple thing unnecessarily complicated and breaking it in the process.

It won’t completely stop rippers to make a post or thread.. But definitely will become difficult
I unsubscribed from one deal channel & subscribing to another channel.Even after selecting SMS option & clicking subscribe button,nothing happens.Pls check at the earliest.
