This change happened long time back bro. Now even Swiggy One membership reduced free radius to 7kms

Zomato, Swiggy, the two most popular food delivery services have made a change in their policy for premium members.

Customers who pay for Swiggy One and Zomato Gold subscriptions are now only eligible for free delivery on orders from restaurants within a 7 km radius, down from the previous 10 km

Zomato Slashing some of the Premium Perks

1. Free delivery range has been reduced from 10km to 7km. All deliveries beyond 7km will be charged extra
2. Extra charge for "Priority Delivery"
3. Platform Fees
4. On-time guaranteed deliveries already eliminated earlier
5. Zomato Legends suspended
6. This is in addition to the 30-40% commission they charge restaurants, who in turn recover it from us by jacking up online menu prices and imposing "packing charges"
7. "VIP access" feature disabled

The recent policy changes by Swiggy and Zomato have clearly caused dissatisfaction among their premium members. As both companies navigate these changes, it remains to be seen how they will respond to the feedback and whether they will make adjustments to retain their customer base

The reduction in the free delivery radius has undoubtedly ruffled feathers, and both companies will need to consider whether the cost savings justify the risk of losing premium members. The coming months will reveal if the backlash will have a lasting impact on their customer base or if they will manage to retain their dominance in the food delivery market through other means of value addition

Ok. This is not good. I miss uber eats

They have to pay around 100-150rs to delivery boys for 10kms delivery. It is totally understandable if they reduced free delivery to 7kms only. 

Depends on location, for me it's still up to 10 kms .
