Zepto has implemented dynamic pricing based on user profiles.
As a long-time Zepto customer with multiple orders placed, I've noticed that certain products on my account are priced Rs 2-3 higher compared to the same items in my mother's account.

But another reason might be, during covid..they got heavy funding and now investors are asking for returns.
People are also dependent on such platforms so they will pay whatever fee these platforms will ask for.
Comfort and Convenience have no price.
