Government agencies are exploring ways to regulate deep discounts and ensure a more equitable playing field between online and offline channels -- really doubt if this is really the case as deep discounts mean less GST amount as seeing recent events, Govt is more keen to ensure its sources of income doesn't decrease but always increase every month 😡😡

Most of states earning major income from liquor. They put targets to excise department.

Guess this "analysts belief"😃 is going to be true as today is the first day of FK price reveal for mobiles and it was Moto's turn and they have price lock feature for 999Rs where they say this is the lowest price guarantee for one to buy which clearly tells indirectly that prices will increase right after sale starts 😡
Also this lower price/price drop is for the highest variant for Moto Edge 50 pro where 12/256 was priced at 29750 (after intro price offer/bank discount) at launch in Apr 2024 and the lower variant went to 25k 5months back.
So better check offline prices first and then one can check FK/Amazon as expecting offline to further reduce next month for Diwali

Also this sale price is not visible in desktop where it asks to install mobile app and in mobile app, I don't see the price mentioned (saw it only in FK live at 7.30pm), anyways in April/May this phone was worth to get for 28k (8gb variant) but now you have better phones under 25k itself e..g Z9s pro and phones like Realme GT 6T/Poco F6 should all be under 25k during sale with all discounts/offers, for below 20k even Z9s looks good
