Why do i feel fascinated by the word Gift Card nowadays?

With Credit cards losing charm its natural 

Gift card gives more discounts than credit cards so which is why xDD

and cherry on top you buy gift card using credit card to have best of both worlds (i.e discount over discount / double dip)

so its not wrong to be feeling facinated by gift cards for the brands you use regularly
