Uni NX Wave by SBM Bank or Yes Bank. Scapia is also ok but you don't get any other Fed bank core card then. Similarly Uni by Yes Bank means they may not give any other Yes Bank CC due to one core card policy
RBL World Safari is good but I've heard way too many transactions declined internationally with it. It doesn't actually work, only in theory.
IDFC First WOW I had but closed as they don't give unsecured cards AFTER you get WOW. If you already have all the unsecured IDFC CCs you need, then you can safely get WOW card
So if i already have onecard via fed, i can't get a proper fed card to use for fed offers?
Yes bank UNI nx wave credit card, got it approved few days back, applied from the uni app, got it in 4 days...
Niyo dcb and Niyo sbm debit cards , both works internationally, no charges on swipe and pos but if u withdrawl, 425+gst will be liveid... I used both niyo cards internationally, and they are good...
can someone from the above list of replies/others, kindly confirm if you had used it personally in these countries - UK/Singapore/Bali/Dubai for POS transactions and there were no charges, so far could get the below cards from this discussion that have zero charges on international POS swipes
1) RBL World Safari
2) Federal Scapia
3) IDFC WoW
4) Uni NX Wave by YES/SBM
5) Niyo DCB/SBM
Also say for e.g. I go to a supermarket/hotel in Singapore and get a bill of 100 Singapore dollars and I swipe any of the above cards assuming zero forex, then what will be the charges in INR?
if I take the below conversion from XE.com, will I be charged 100 SGD * 61.66 = 6166 INR or have to look into each card's INR conversion rate and choose which gives the lowest? i.e. how 100 SGD will be calculated and posted in my CC bill, thanks!!
@arundass007378 Used niyo cards as i told earlier in bali, malaysia and vietnam...no extra charges for swipe , u will get the exact conversion of the current day price...
Let me share u an example, i went to vietnam bana hills, there i got the ticket by swiping my niyo card, the entry price was 850000 Vietnamese dong , my card debited for 17,00,000 VD for two people, concerted to 5921 Indian rupees for two people, i e. 2960 for 1 person... No extra charge , so u got 287 inr as conversion rate on 1 VD...
ATM withdrawal fees + GST laughing in the corner...
Indusind exclusive debit card has zero forex, no ATM withdrawal fee
Does RBL signature plus debit card also give zero Forex charges
Does IndusInd select debit card also give zero forex charges
Which card is best for online payments from India to US/Europe which doesn't have Make-up charges and best currency rates?
Anybody please?
Also note that spends from 0 forex debit cards - the SBM cards or even IndusInd Exclusive Debit cards show up in our AIS so income tax department comes to know how much we are spending for foreign txns. CC intl spends don't get reported (yet) in AIS.
