Which is best glucometer (value for money) available in market?

Want to buy a good glucometer for my dad who is diabetic. Currently using Accucheck Instant S.
Bit flexible on budget if the product is value for money. Please suggest based on the experience. Thanks

Best and Value for money for me would even if the device is bit expensive, it gives reliable reading. I would be happy with that.

DO NOT BUY the BeatO Glucometer. I bought three and used them simultaneously with the same blood sample. All three gave different readings, with discrepancies of 15-20 points, which is significant. They sell the device almost for free and then keep calling you to buy strips. Extremely pathetic company. Stay away from them.
