Buy 4k if budget permits. 4k content looks better even if your TV is 1080p. For e.g I got the normal 1080p for 1767 on swiggy and using it for stremio, My 8 year old VU smart 1080p TV sadly doesn't have android 😌. JIO STB suffices for everything but I cant install stremio on it.
It shows 4k content but is unable to play it. I was using my laptop to connect to my TV and 4k looked better. Now I watch the largest 1080p option available.
One tip - if you decide to go for the normal one, consider lite as well. The only difference is that the remote doesnt have power or volume buttons. Hardware is identical.

When TV is 100cc [HD ] then you Can't Run 1000cc Harley Davidson on [4k] it. Output will be HD only or will not work.
