Heard LG is good and after sales service also good but the models available on Flipkart are.not the latest ones.
IFB was recommended by many on DD but at the same time many people said service of IFB is bad.
Bosch was recommended by many but no reviews on their service.
Samsung's washing machine wasn't recommended but their after sales service was termed as good.
So confused where to turn my head to.
For reference regarding after sales service , i reside in Delhi.
LG , in my personal experience based on , quality of wash, wide choice of equipments, nationwide , quality ,timely, affordable and trouble free after sales, ease of operation, reliability etc
I heard Bosch is good based solely on quality of wash.
Bosch is very good for the front load models.
PS : my personal experience is with LG semi automatic machines, so I can't suggest fully automatic models.
So Consult Ur Frnds Or Relatives about Their After Sales Service In Ur Area.
First Samsung Washing Machine 6kg Single Tub Automatic Model Purchased And Used For 11 Years.
Now Using Lg Washing Machine 6.2kg Since 5 years And running till now.
both are good brands.
Exactly the recommendation I was looking for. Till now we had semi automatic machine which is still is working fine, but due to low capacity of drum (3kg) and dryer not working, planning to buy automatic one. I see top load washing machine in range of around 15K to be good in specs, where as front load washing machine from decent brands starts from 24-25k. How is this 10K justified (I heard better wash quality and less water and detergent consumption, but is this worth this huge price difference).
And other than brands like LG, Samsung and others discussed above, I see Motorola machines are available at similar price with better specs, if anyone have used them.
@bikidas2060 LG inverter based top-loading. May look old/outdated than other brands. But very solidly built and are great utility machines in the long run, saves power too. I usually avoid fancy features and front loads and go for mid-range series with only needed list of programs/features. @Tanmayyy
Have one bought in 2019, runs daily, no maintenance was needed (just cleaning and intake filter desilting) ,still functions like when it was new, material quality speaks for itself.
Actually they sale it under direct drive technology. Right? Very smooth n lesser vibration in comparison to old pully system. Samsung also gives similar technology. I have a Samsung. No complaints.
I Also Prefered LG Based On Dimers Feedback 😄
BTW which model are u going to buy?
I have experience with below
LG : used front load model, died after 5 years.. Service was good which is just call away.
Ifb : lot of issues with motor (might be model specific) service is good they have changed some parts during warranty and post warranty spares price is very high... I have been told to change drum as smoke came out from drum. Drum would cost around 10k (planning to replace this in upcoming bbd sale)
It's just 5 years old.
Bosch : using since 7 years, not even a single complaint or issue till date... Not sure about service as I never had to contact them..
Quality of wash is very good compared with LG and ifb.
1) Wash quality/ performance of all the machines are almost same. So brand doesn't matter much.
2) Spare parts are costly, so one has to spend a lot after warranty. He says replacement of parts like PCB & all cost as high as 6-8k(he said for LG) if there is no warranty.
3) Only IFB gives 4 years warranty, LG 1 year & Bosch 2 years. IFB's AMC is also the cheapest among all.
4) He agrees on pushing the sale of their products as it's part of the company's revenue model. But the customer has all the rights to refuse.
5) He says choosing LG/Bosch is not bad, but one has to be aware of the expenses after warranty.
6) Energy savings of direct drive machines are negligible as compared to their belt driven machines. Only grace point is the reduced vibration. Now I am confused...... Please guide. @decideaim @Censuresh @UnderNation @TEMPER @pranavcool
using IFB from 4 years and till now no issues. service also too good
LG, IFB and Bosch are all good brands with great after sales support in my city. Select the machine from any of these brands which are providing more features and cheaper during the sale.
Whichever company provides good service in your area among LG, Samsung, IFB, Bosch
Samsung or LG. You can pick either depending on the offer price. Meanwhile, as the sale is about a week away, you can call or visit service centers near you for both brands and see how good/bad it is.
I'd prefer Samsung coz of its after-sales service.
Bro buy Bosch last diwali bbd i bought bosch as Bosch has super deals and in 1 y i am satisfied service is super quick

I bought this one for a friend last month.
It has inbuilt heater and steam function.
21499 after card discounts.
I have been Using LG washing machines for years now. So trust factor is there.
Whirlpool has poor service.
Some people suggested bosch, it was my second option.
IFB was third.
I strictly avoid anything Samsung.
bosch uses less water as compared to lg and wash quality is excellent , atlast main aim is to wash clothes and dry them that does my job, all another are gimmicky in washing machines, also lg machines are light weight so if there foot not configured properly it moves around.
also i am not seeing any major electricity bill difference in bosch from one year. so yeah feedback is good till now
if you want washer + drying then only samsung gives in affordable option.
also if your family is of 4+ members buy 8-9 kg capacity
Rather than going after only the brand, we should also mention the model number and years of usage.
No single brand will be master in front and top load within all the capacity. they launch dozens of models each year by making small changes, introducing cost-cutting parts to fight competition with inflation. I would choose a two-year-old most sold model over the latest one with a few unnecessary add-ons.
1. Heavy jeans , trousers or bedsheets, blankets front load washing is d best.
2. Front load machines take minimum 2 hrs for a regular wash n drying apart from woolen wash with is available for 45 mins wash. Heavy clothes with prewash n soak can take 2hrs n 30 mins. But good clean wash.
3. Top load 45 mins for a wash. Half tub wash finishes within 30 mins for fewer clothes. This can be helpful for quick and everyday clothing wash.
Own both top and front load machines.
Front load IFB senator 6 kgs 15 yrs old. Best wash. Had a problem once, almost 6yrs bk. Service was bit pathetic then.
LG top load 12 yrs old, had a problem once with this too.service n customer care ok. convenient for everyday clothes n quick wash. Blessing during rainy season.
Buying any machine go for metal drum n not plastic drum with in built geyser. Both my machines have that features.
I use surf excel front load for both. Dirt removal at its best.
Any machines post sales , they will suggest u with additional products to buy to maintain d machines well.
Descalar powder instead i use baking soda n vinegar once in a month.
Water softener attachment as we use well water but dint go for it.
Stabilizers for voltage fluctuations, we dint buy any.
Ifb cuffs n collars best product for formal shirts. Cleans best without having to scrub shirt collars. Have used other brand cuffs n collars, which r acid based generally and can get collar fabric torn even without scrubbing within few washes.
