Hi Can somebody help me with AC Brands which gives 5 years comprehensive warranty including gas charging.
Earlier voltas used to give the same but now they have excluded gas charging.
Or else please help me with Ac on which amc charges are low.

Can go with LG AC. Using 1 from last 6 years and other one from last 2 years. Outdoor Unit is silent compared to Voltas & Lloyd installed in my neighbourhood. Indoor unit only makes air throw noise from fan/blower which is not noticeable under ceiling fan noise. also Quiet mode is there. LG service is good and on time in my experience (small town near 15 km from tier 3 city). Performance is good, if comfortable with 25-27 C temp in peak north summer. Best part is dual rotary compressor. 1.5 ton AC with 6 hr usage will add Rs 700-1000 per month depending on other factors( room size, number of doors and windows, walls/roof exposed to direct sun , appliances running, number of people etc).
0.8 ton ac is sufficient for bedroom under 100 sqft
1-1.2 ton is sufficient for bedroom under 100-140 sqft
1.5 ton is sufficient for living room between 140-190 sqft
2 ton is sufficient for big hall upto 190-250 sqft
Note:- Choose one bigger size AC than recommended if room is top floor.

none.. only 1year warranty on all like parts/gas refill etc..5yrs on PCB which is now common for inverter models and 10yrs on compressor..
Last year Carrier had a offer where they gave 1(regular warranty) +4yrs but you have to do 2 paid services for each year in 2-5th year which comes to 2*(699+GST)=Rs. 1650 per year
