In a town where I live, i dont see many options to use Sodexo card ( Meal / Multi-purpose)
Didnt work on D-mart, La Pinoz
Any other options, maybe some wallets or bill payments?

Reliance Fresh, JioMart.
Check with some local/small hypermarts (which work like D Mart).. some of them do accept Sodexo. But be careful with pricing.. they may inflate the price once you say that you are paying using Sodexo.
Jio mart is the only good option in my case. But prices are always somewhat little more than D-mart. Guess I'll have to settle for that
Use it on Swiggy Instamart, I think many are taking this balance at minimal cost or no cost
How come it did not work for you in dmart? I've used it many times there for groceries... Have you tried dmart online?
Apart from that, I've used sodexo card offline in reliance fresh, spencers, mcdonalds, dominos... and online on jiomart, swiggy (both food & instamart) & blinkit. Not yet tried on amazon fresh or zepto.
Doesn't work for Dmart.
Check the Sodexo merchant directory to look for stores that accept the card - https://sdx-merchantdirectory-india0zetaapps.mu...
A similar option also exists in the Pluxee app.
I live in a small town as well and I use it at the local supermarket - no discounts/offers but at least I can spend the balance.
It works in bigbasket
Magicpin - Allows both food delivery + hotel magicpay
In order to use offline, do u need physical card to swipe at POS or does scan from app works?
If merchant has qr code then it will work, else u need to swipe
Place COD order from Bigbasket using tataneu for 5% neucoins, then go to big basket app and pay with sodexo card for that order.
Can we add money in BB app with Sodexo card?
Works on ZOMATO
Use in MilkBasket if available in your area

Look at this way... Sodexo amount saves you tax at your highest tax slab rate.
JioMart's prices are marginally higher than DMart.. maybe on an average say max 5%.
Assuming for simplicity, your highest tax rate is 20%.
Price in Dmart - Rs. 100 - you need Rs. 125 pre-tax money to buy this at 20% tax rate since you are paying using post-tax money. (80% of 125=100)
Price in JioMart - Rs. 105 - you will only need Rs. 105 pre-tax money to buy this since you are paying using Sodexo money which is pre-tax.
As long as the price differential % does not hit the tax rate benchmark, you are still better off paying using Sodexo.
