when were you introduced to dd?

One day I asked someone online where one can spam on the other hand not get banned, get some rewards & make a cult whose followers will also do the same.

He said "DesiDime.com"

I also asked what's your ID. But, he NEVER REPLIED AGAIN.

Around 10-11 years back, when online food ordering was done from Foodpanda, TastyKhana etc. etc. Websites, one of my frnd used this website to look for coupons, after some days/months, I signed up.

In few months, it will be 10 years I joined this wonderfull community.

I joined early 2023 but were using it without creating an account. For me DD is the only place where I get various topics which were answered by humans unlike Google results. Not visited the deals section even once. I'm using DD only for the Dost and Dimes section and  occasionally use trading. I met so many Great kind hearted people here who share everything  and I'm indebted to DD and dimers!

Vu+ 2023, When I was searching on YouTube for the One Card trick, a website suggestion ad led me to it.

I was late to credit cards system of cashback and offers and while starting to get info about Credit Cards, came across DD in Aug 2022

It was June, 2011 when I joined DD. I used to always get valid discount coupons for Yebhi.com and Tradus.in on DD. So it all started with free coupons 😄

I still miss Yebhi.com!!

* Joined 2014, college days, was wasting my life instead of studying. 

* Found while finding coupons for mobile recharges, saste online items(ShopClues - chor site k coupons). There were many coupon sites but deals were best here only and you got to see comments that order will be cancelled/honoured on pricing error(those were the days).

* Then got hit with corporate world but still whenever had to find a deal/coupon/trade, I knew DD is there, good people are here(Thanks Karma). 

* Now got hit with life/bad life period, do mindless scrolls on quora/fb to avoid mind to go negative. Sometimes now I lurk on dost and dimes section, find some solace here and there.

I had lost interest in tech world of PCs/smartphones due to Microshit turning Windows into rubbish and discovered that various Amazon loots were saving me a ton of money (Rewards, UPI, Pay Later and the big RuPay offer, the credit for awareness of which goes to @abhishek012 ) To make up for the very late start, I did get like 40 RuPay Platinums, accounts in all banks and 30 CCs 🤪(many accounts, DCs and CCs closed now 😝)

Regret not joining before 2021, didn't knew there was a wonderful community like this.

This is the first and only online community which has been helpful for me be in deals or suggestions or discussion.

In the July 325 BC, When Alexander and his army returned westward for home, On the way back home, they were fighting in comment section Of DD(blaming each other for their defeat), I thought it's an another beautiful battlefield... hence, i signed up with my keyboard as weapon 😜😂

Signed up since March 2014 when Freecharge/paytm had tied-up with DD. Used website even before that. Like to be silent and not post much.
