What’s is the cheapest plan in prepaid available?
I used to have 1500₹ plan (airtel) for 365 days which is now increased to 1800₹.
Main purpose is call with minimal data, and that plan provides 24 gb data which is enough for using maps or emergency whatsapp.
After price increase, is there any cheap plan available? Cheaper than 1800₹ or may be around 4-4.3₹ per day.
Ps - my plan is going to expire in 16 days,so open for port as well.
- Sort By
Not with airtel alone, only 16 days are remaining in my pack expiry so even open for port out.
@desiviru @Mayavi @kukdookoo @tappukepapa @motabhaii any suggestions!!
check vi plans 22g.they are circle specific but it is your only choice.vi has terrible customer care and they keep on deducting balance.

does VOICE_22 works for GP2 customers
and if it offers OG validity for 90 days
airtel will charge 99 ruppess from main balance for validity extension for 28 days
s: cheaper options is bsnl now
vi, airtel, jio all plans are almost same, so service wise airtel is best and you are already in airtel
airtel will charge 99 ruppess from main balance for validity extension for 28 days
source 22g?
Cheapest is 1199 by BSNL for GP2 customers. If you have BSNL sim with GP2 recharge with 1199, 365 Days UL Calls + 24GB Data. It’s 1499 plan discounted by 20% for GP2 customers.
Also 49 is for 24 days. So year cost will be 49*15= 735.00
For Data Only users BSNL’s 1498 is gem. 2GB/day for 365 days.
What is the cheapest plane to enable only incoming calls and messages on Airtel? Till last month Rs 45 used to be debited automatically from my main balance, but looks like those ****ers have stopped that now. I have main balance of Rs 135
99 is the cheapest with Airtel now. Dial *567*99# to activate from balance and get 99TT + 200MB for 28 days. SMS allowed and charged @ base rates.
Now after 23 days port out to BSNL if you really want cheap or Jio which allows IC calls/SMS without any plan. But with Jio recharge once a while else they close the portin numbers. No problem if it is Jio sim itself.
In the original question there was a need to use Google maps. One cannot depend on BSNL network for continuous signal.
BSNL maybe cheaper but it’s feasible only for secondary number where there absolutely zero data dependency.
BSNL plans are seriously great… i had switched for 6 months .. i couldn’t call.. was hardly getting calls ..if connected voice issue.. friends constantly complained about my no. Being out of reach or switched of.. couldn’t even browse internet.. and OTP would always be delayed. Switched to JIO.
MH CIRCLE
Yeah same here in WB/KOL circle. Forget about data speed, it’s always on Edge but don’t care about that as mum doesn’t go out of the house often. What’s incredibly bothersome is other people keep saying they can’t hear mum’s voice. Another thing is calls do not connect to other numbers, it simply says call disconnected. Then there’s the delay in incoming SMS as well. Have to toggle flight mode on and off to get around that. And I have kept her phone on 2G network mode so that the signal remains best! Because in BSNL’s world 3G might be new tech.
Therefore, it’s more than fair to say that BSNL network is atrocious. I’ll bet porting out her number when the 300-day (399 recharge) period is over. But what to port out will remain the biggest confusion!
Bsnl in 300plus on one year incoming and free sms received.
What’s the benifit of 99₹ which jio charge for prime membership, what they offer in this membership?
I personally use BSNL and it works fine for me as well as does a cost cutting. But i couldn’t find the same plans of BSNL/MTNL for NCR circle. As BSNL have taken over the MTNL operations from 1st January, it may very well introduce new tariffs. The only affordable plan i can find with existing MTNL is ₹98 with 28Days validity.
You may port to Vi/Airtel and use ₹118 for 28 days with 12GB of data, if all you need is a data and you may top up with talktime to make outgoing calls.
While with Jio you have the best suitable plan with ₹1559 for 336 days. Which brings you to roughly ₹130 for 28 days.
Another option i’d suggest you is a Jio Phone, if smartphone is not a criteria you can recharge with as low as ₹91 for 28 days or ₹899 for 336 days which would cost ₹75 for 28 days. No other operator be so generous.
hi
Is there any plan in any operator which gives longest validity, just base rate outgoing and incoming. No unlimited calling or data, basically need for house helps / staff.
BSNL offers cheapest but look for its coverage in your area before you make any decision.
I’m currently with jio because it’s the best connection in my area, also comparatively cheaper.
Jio's Annual plan of rs.1559 is the cheapest. Its available only on their website under value plans. You wont find it on recharge apps.
It’s for 336 days + jio store toldme one has to recharge for 99₹ also (prime membership).
What is the minimum recharge in BSNL for outgoing SMS?
BSNL signal have become much better from this year. They have the cheapest plans and very good internet speed even in 3G. Some smaller towns have 4G available. Is much economical in long term.
Yes, 4g is available in bsnl for selected customer.

I am using BSNL in Bangalore. I bought TP-Link MR 600 router. Used my BSNL sim and 599/- plan. 5GB high-speed data per day for 86 days. I am getting 10 MBPS speed most of the time. I am able to use 3 devices comfortably for office work and browsing.
Which area in bangalore. I’m in rt nagar interior area and speed is worst
Jio is giving 1559 .336 days recharge
Please suggest cheapest plan for jio, for sms
Please start a thread for postpaid plan
Just realised bsnl has also hiked their prepaid plans many times a year and removed sms benefits in but cheaper plans too.
There was stv 106, stv 94 plans which used to give 84 and 75 days validity and now days have been almost reduced to 50 days or lesser something.
Itna tadpa tadpa ke kyu mar rahe hai bhai, now which is cheapest prepaid plan in india only for the validity sake ?
I use BSNL 399 plan which gives 2.2 Gb data per day for 90 days but i hardly use it because i remain connected to Wifi throught the day. For calling i use wireless landline phone. So although it’s cheap but still a waste for me.
its probably Jio yearly 1550 plan which is the cheapest as of now except bsnl whose network is not good for me
Looking for cheapest within airtel bro ? No idea since they reshuffled all the plans.
For BSNL, i think cheapest is 699 for 6 months, gives unlimited calling, 0.5 GB data / day and 100 sms / day
