I was curious about the memory/storage configuration in the phones you are currently using. What do you prefer in the next phone you are likely to buy.
Mine is 6/128GB -a 2 year old RN10Pro. Next phone would likely be 8/256GB. I'm not a gamer and dont see a need for 12GB models.
Let's hear from the fellow dimers.

Mine is currently 6/128 for two phones (2-3 yr old). Next would be 8/256 if I get a good deal or I'll buy 6/128 again.
Earlier using note 5 pro with 4/64 and that was good enough for me
But that became dead and now bought m4 pro with 6/128 and now i have just 15 gb free space now earlier 5-10 gv was available in 64 gb also
Didn't have stored anything extra but still 128gb is not enough now
Looks like Will have to upgrade to 256gb in near future .
4/64 , M30s since 2019❤
Lame 16gb RAM and just 512 gb storage
Recently upgraded from 4/64 (Redmi note 8) to Infinix Hot 30i (8/128) got in 2700/- in exchange offer. I use phone only for calls and finance related stuff so camera, screen resolution, audio, video, etc etc doesn't matter, only thing i need is that it should not get hung. Using 64GB external memory card purchased in 2014. Will upgrade if i find hanging issue.
Current: 2/16 ,
Next: 8/256
lol I just go to know that my iPhone 14 has 6GB RAM!!
So,
Current : 6/128
Next: Whatever bare minimum available in an iPhone 😄
Currently 12/512 , more than enough
My first phone was of Samsun, 1gb Ram/ 16Rom
2nd 4/64
3rd 8/128
4th 8/256
min of 8/256 is safe to buy now..
Poco X6
12/512
I need 512 gb minimum in my primary phone as I don't like uninstalling reinstalling apps and hate sorting data every few days.
With extra storage I am tension free and can use as emergency pendrive or use it to store extra content or data during travelling
For example I keep 4 different versions of YouTube fork app with diff email accounts. One is for music, one for news, etc
Also why not use a microSD of same capacity instead of 512gb on the phone? You can transfer between phones and dont have to worry about data loss in the rare case of phone dying.
6/64 since 2020
Might go for 8/64 in future
current iPhone: 512GB
previous iPhone used for 6 years was 256GB (still using as secondary phone)
And no, I do not make video content. Just have lots of apps, photos and stuff randomly downloaded from internet. What's app chat history of 12-13 years with photos (no videos) is also massive.
8/256gb is the new minimum now.
128 gb gets filled very fast and ram usage is now about 5-6 gb
