I am exploring using 43 inch 4k TV as monitor. Problem is the 32inch 4k UHD monitors don't have any good deals right now, right is 32k inr or more for IPS and don't have USB-C.

There is Cooca 43inch 4k TV 43Y73 Pro that has matte screen (and is 22k inr), so advertised as less reflective. This would make it better for monitor use. I would use for work stuff, not gaming. I want to know if matte is actually a real thing or just something they are saying but isn't really anything different than other TVs. Are there any other TVs advertised like this? I have not been able to find. Anyone have this TV?

I personally wouldn't trust claims on display quality/features from random brand, like it could be there just for name sake

But these days .... Big brand just earning for their names...  I have Motorola 65 inch tv which is highly satisfying QLED 4K display... And dont. Know it actually have or not , never went any lab to test and get certify... Although sound is not that good in detailing of bass and other effects....but pretty loud no need of speakers in daily routine... I have subwoofer where sound of subwoofer while watching movies and series have edge rather than normal tv sound... I can differentiate it as I have subwoofer otherwise no need to buy any sound box or subwoofer or amplifier ....

And Motorola have no big name like samsung Sony and LG have in market

Motorola is like random brand which is selling the same quality product  worth 38k-40k do Sony selling with the triluminous display worth 105k-110k....my relative do bought Sony one ...they never get any OS update from Sony  in last two year , and moto we have frequent security updates and patches from the moto.

So bro sometimes random brands do provide better response and quality features like world's most trusted brands do not...

Now to summarise , not have pretty much understanding on "claims" on matte screens by  trusted or random brands ... But mehenga roye ek baar sasta roye baar - costly is better than economical is not the concept these days...

Brands do earn  extra on their huge PR and advertisement and where you never see any ads of cocoa ,Kodak ,croma ,moto in TV segments on any channel nor even news channels...

So choose wisely ....

Even for mobiles, I prefer matte screen or a matte film over the display.

And ever since I moved away from CRT monitors (and started using flat screen displays) I have stuck to matte screens.

It was something ingrained since a younger age actually.
Father would pay a bit extra, if it cost more, but get the photo-films developed in matte finish.

But for me, it was also practical.. as I grew older and often saw that the diagonal sunrays coming from the window and hitting at an angle.. made the display LESS EASY TO READ (not into leisure, mostly work on spreadsheets or similar. Hence 'read').

Back in the day, any laptops of more than 17 inches or even at 17", with matte screen.. used to cost unreasonable money.

Thus st times, I moved to using (clip-on style) additional sheets/ guards to get the matte look.
Those hardly cost much.

When Admiral Overseas Corporation/ AOC started whooping the ass of the likes of Viewsonic and others, it became easier to get matte screen displays.. from the likes of AOC.

Now the tech is fairly stabilised, commonly available.

Thus, less chances of someone having to bluff about it.

However, all this said
if you/someone is not really bothered about the reflections, then it may not seem like a necessity to go for anti-glare.

For me, it is difficult. I go nuts.. even if I see the reflection of the wall clock in the OFF monitor/display.
(Imagine how distracted i would get when I see it/the reflections while working on something important.)
