What is 'HDFC Preferred Banking' programme?

hello guys…i hv been getting several messages from hdfc banking for a few months asking to upgrade my account to ‘Preferred Banking Programme’.
Can somebody kindly clarify what this programme is?
And what’s its pros and cons?

There are no charges for this programme when offered by bank
MAB, card charges, etc are removed or reduced
You can enroll Family acc as well
Not much change wrt sal account
Loans and service charges will get reduces a bit
PS – preferred acc holder here

hi, I was offered preferred banking, I applied for it and now my account is reflecting as preferred. Now about preferred Premium debit card, will it be automatically delivered to me or do I have to get it activated/register for my account?
