Yes bro I even showed my frustration of waiting too long to the agents who came later. They simply replied we don't want our customers to have this kind of experience. Yeah my interactions with their cs were nice till this incident. it changed my whole perspective
@JeffBezosOfficial Thoda Nazar Rakho apne employee's par.
Previously, IN-SNR (INdia Search aNd Rescue) team, the real escalations
was a L3 skill.
In 2019 itself, it was depreciated and made a L2 skill.
This facilitated GO-sites to handle IN-SNR contacts.
("GO site' is a glamorised way of saying 'third party' operated site, vendor site.).
For example, Rachel https://linkedin.com/in/racheljudelenelang777 who was herself a L3 and not L4, was sent as a trainer for BDQ site.
Yes, Baroda was the first third party site to have a small IN-SNR team.
Amazon Development Centre (ADC/ Amazon Development Centre India Private Limited) is still keeping very very limited people on payroll for the customer service roles.
Even those associated with ADC are on retainership basis only and not 'employees'.
(A 6 month, 12 month, 24 month contract is a retainership contract to 'retain' the person, without letting them take up any other full time work.)
Bro did you get the cashback or not? Complete the story at least.
Fighting with them bro still haven't got
If its late evening support, expect the least. Morning after 10AM you get presumably good call support.
If your experience is between 10AM-5PM, now thats a worrying point for every amazon customer
Yes bro you're right. It's around 7PM.
New appointed customer care executives
Work from home wale
Drop email to Amazon customer care (I don't know whether it will work or not)
How much is cash back amount? Is it big amount?
very soon you will think that you are on phone or chat with humans but it will be ai and it will speak in your language in your accent
@malikcool @playdime @Bhawin @kukdookoo bros while browsing, I saw a reddit thread of Americans complaining the same about Amazon support. Most people in the comments say that the customer support went shitty after Amazon moved their cs to India. They say, the agents are not even Amazon employees but rather appointed through third party agencies so they don't have any clue about our issues at all. All of the above, one shocking comment mentioned that Amazon did it with purpose to make customers accept their issues rather than dealing with these third grade support agents. Master plan 🙃 They appreciate North America and Canadian support to be customer friendly. As I said, they too noticed several typing errors and grammar mistakes. For this, they say the job Market in India is currently not good so even non experienced candidates are selected for this role. But I'm sure Indians speak English better than them but it's saddening to see them mock/degrade Indians.
You are right but still the customer support in those countries is outstanding. you order a 3060 but you get a 4090 keep it and they refund your money for the 3060 no questions asked. you receieved a broken product they will replace it immediately no questions asked but here you know how things go nowadays. and we cant blame these companies there are many bkl chindichors who do scams for even rs.10. there are many of them here on dd also.
A few years back amazon added a layer which predicts the number of support agents needed next week. what happens now is that they have very few fixed employees for support and the rest are contract hire via third party for week month quarter etc. these employees only have incentive linked to chats completed so they give the wrong solution redirect auto close hold the chat etc. the remaining fixed or directly contracted usually have training incentive or just in general follow their "customer trust" principles. other than that the general culture in anazon has take a dive there has been sudden layoffs, low pay for new hires, lack of promotion and bonus and india is not their main priority so what happens is even in the so called fixed support staff thise who care are very few who primarily need promotion etc or were just in good mood at that time. leaving you with lack of support. the dynamic contract ones are so uninterested and fairly so a lot of them don't even know how to check anything other than basic order detail.
the condition is mostly the same everywhere india us prine non prime. you can check reddit.
also in general amazon is slowly becoming ibm and with the absence of cheap loans, bad leadership, lack of growth outside eu and us and competition in us eu from chinese and Walmart at this point no one cares to fix anything.
paji yeh loan vala scene samja nahi?
This chat redirect play is recently rampant in Amazon. I too faced this. The agent simply kept redirecting after 2-3 mins. when he didn't understand the problem he simply redirected the chat. Add sometime to Amazon prime support, sometimes to fresh, sometimes to Amazon pay & so on.. Total 52 redirects and 1hr 56mins. I played along to record this. As I was watching webseries,& phone was idle, I continued the chat..
This is new loophole in Amazon which the agents are exploiting as there's no monitoring system for them..!
Amazon customer service is at its peak worst nowadays. Seeing the poor efforts to correct these from Amazon, it will become only worser and worser from earth's most customer centric company to earth's most kachara service company.!
Finally someone who faced the same struggle as me
1.40 hours really? When I contact Amazon support via chat I get it done in a few minutes. If the first level chat representative is not able to solve the query in a few replies I just tell them to transfer it to the senior executive and get it resolved.
