It was just 100 bill..and I mistakenly paid thru simpl….but I paid that amount..but after 25 late fees…which now increased to 150..so will they go for further escalation…

Created another account and using it
Pay within 15days after due date to avoid simpl account block
Anything else other than blocking… I actually paid the whole actual amount…but its just late fee now of 150
They must have captured your phone contacts . Usually othe Loan app guys do that and if you dont pay, they will call those contacts and infrom that you owe some money to them.
I do agree with you but partially.
Some of the states in India banned micro finance business (SKS/Bharat finance tanked to lowest level during that time). They caught hold of Low Income Group people and harassed them to collect the money.
Here the point is collection of fees and interest amount. Any interest which is beyond 12% is NOT considered by Indian courts.
Why should they penalize the customer with late payment when they are already charging interest ?
Just because these Lower Income guys can not go to court, will they collect, what ever the amount they want?
Then why use it in the first place if they were involved in illegal practice?
The whole discussion is about doing something illegal. And while doing so, he is seeking the protection of Indian court.

The problem these people have are
1. These nbfc sometimes report late payment entries to credit bureaus – which is a mess getting fixed
2. These facilitators change lending partner quite often which leads to another unnecessary hard enquiry and an active loan – which again is a huge waste of time getting removed.
