ITC is the worst brand , they are guru in selling cancer to cheap copy products of reputed brands like Nestle Maggi and Parle and Britannia biscuits with there pathetic and awful taste

I know ppl have mixed opinions, but after having first hand experience one may say i will never buy them even though there are steal deals
My List:
1. Invictus t-shirts and clothes
2. Wrogn clothes
3. Provogue watches
4. Life Long and Insala brand products
5. LG slimline gram laptop, for that matter any slimline where parts not freely available in market
6. Acer, Lenovo laptops
7. Any brand type-C PD charging with HDMI & USB ports for PD charging and display
8.Campus deeply discounted shoes like they come for 300 etc.
9. Any brand BLDC (crompton, Havells i have experience, but wanted to completely avoid BLDC)
Now your list

ITC has built a reputation for producing a range of products, but their attempts to mimic popular brands like Nestle’s Maggi, Parle, and Britannia often fall short. Many consumers criticize the taste and quality of these products, viewing them as poor imitations. Furthermore, their involvement in the tobacco industry continues to be a contentious issue, raising questions about the company's overall responsibility. #BoycottITC
There are more garbage potential e-waste selling than the genuine one.
The list should be What brand one should rely on, in every category; be it apparel, electronics or plastic home and kitchen items.
However, brands to rely on varies. I did not like wrogn, HRX, invictus. Some in the thread liked it. So its difficult as tastes vary.
Even some say APPLE they don't like and like something else.
Any Apple product I'd never buy even though I can afford to because I don't find they give enough value for money and quality and choice for that amount of money. Apple products according to me are all about looks, they prioritize form over function which I find outrageous. Plus they're a very locked-in overpriced closed ecosystem
Some of the downmarket smartphone brands I will never buy which are known to cause problems soon after - OnePlus comes to mind and Xiaomi/Poco/Redmi
Avoid Samsung SD cards, Sandisk is OK. Avoid Sandisk SSDs, Samsung SSDs are OK
Would never ever pay for any Microsoft product today either or Google-branded - total trash whether it's hardware or software. I also dislike Logitech's overpriced accessories and peripherals. In laptops, avoid Dell, HP, Samsung, LG, MIcrosoft. Prefer ASUS, Lenovo
Now @playdime OP, coming to your post, you didn't say why not Acer or Lenovo laptops? (I've owned a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop and never had any issues) Why not USB-C PD charging? Why not a BLDC fan from a good brand? (I've "Superfan" and it's been flawless and superb, I heard Atomberg is good too, these don't give PCB issues)
Boat usb cables, purchase 2 times but got defective with in month with less use
What is against BLDC fans? The technology itself is faulty?
Pigeon or Prestige products
Phones - no oppo troppo poco moco etc. I've used and loved Samsungs, but every Samsung phone these days is practically the same, not like it was 10ish years ago. I guess you can say that for pretty much any brand though, like what's the difference between iPhone X and iPhone 16 anyway? It's practically the same. Anyway I have and love an iPhone right now but yeah. For phones, I'm sticking to big brands. I don't really even trust Motorola because it's not the Motorola of the 2000s but something else.
Laptops - HP is on my sh!tlist. I will never buy an HP laptop after what happened to my mum's 50k TX2001 series laptop back in the late 00s. There was a class action lawsuit which HP lost in the USA but of course, Indian consumers didn't get squat.
Accessories - Never buy Portronics, bad service. Got a shitty keyboard which crapped out in less than a month and they expect me to travel to their service center for a 1000 rupee keyboard.
Shopping - I won't trust Flipkart anymore and only buy things from their Grocery/Minutes offerings.
TVs - NEVER buy Thomson. Utter crap, panel went bad in 3 years.
Any Chinese phone from that parent company BBQ or whatever it is. Samsung too (their phones). The list will be endless actually considering 99% products are garbage even from so called big brands.
BIG VUE IFP- shipped defective panel of 1.5 Lakh with black dot in between which I couldn't see being outstation & initially disregarded as speck of dust.. written countless mails, service engineer was sent but after that NO RESPONSE to multiple mails
Havells bldc fan and Noise watch
amongst these names, if some of the brands which I previously considered and even used.. improve in certain aspects then there is scope for them to get out of this 'no go' list.
there might be other brand names too in the expanded or a more comprehensive list, but for now.. i recollected these names.
I don't buy WIPRO even if getting them at loot or steep discount.
Why? Because do baar laat mein ke nikal diya tha after college placements around half a decade back because of debate rounds (same topic).
TCL products, fraud company with no service centres
Ohh.. good info. Service centers not near you or not anywhere in india? Probably they have call center and when called assigns to local third party personnel?
Hisense tv i bought have installation guy from flipkarts own service , i forgot the name. When i called i got connected to fk ivr.
Boycott tesla Boycott Elon musk
Inalsa brand appliances
Haier brand appliances
Kotak credit card
Bata North Star sports shoes
So called Make in India products from indian brands. All they do is import Chinese products and put their logo on it and sell.
Apple, Duke, Royal Enfield, zebronics
Not against any particular brand but my experience was bad after buying some discounted products in sales so i don't recommend
1. Cables, earphones and chargers unless they are from reputed mobile manufacturing brands.
2. New brands facewash, oil, shampoo and personal hygiene products with no or less reviews.
3. Memory cards and SSD/HDDs without customer reviews about originality and proper packaging.
4. Mobile batteries
Perfect!
1. Recently brought portronics usb c to usb a cable at 49/- from blinkit loot, feels total waste, it doesn't fit properly (type c side) and very poorly braided. Also, cheap earphones will damage your hearing ability to a large extent. Choosing a cheap charger is enough to ruin your phone.
2. They are doing clinical trails on you in the name of sample loot at 1/-.
3 & 4. They are very prone to duplicate.
I never buy products from so called 'brands' who do nothing but 'rebrand' Chinese products as their own.
I will never buy entry level stuff from some of the well established brands. Pricing competition ruined the product quality. e.g. Lenovo, Acer, HP when it comes to laptops. I would rather look at Samsung! I still believe that a true good quality laptop would cost you noting below 1L rupees.
I have a thing in my mind for brands and their products.
