I have 2 savings account -
SBI - Normal zero balance Savings Account with NCMC Global Rupay Card - Annual Fees Rs. 125 + GST

ICICI - Silver Savings Account maintaing 25k with Rupay Platinum Debit Card - Annual Fees Rs. 150 + GST

Have 1 lakh+ FD in both accounts. Is there a way to avoid recurring annual charges for these debit cards. In my comparison, HDFC is the best as it waives off every charge including debit card fees for 25k account. ICICI also does not have much benefit in comparison to HDFC so planning to close it next year. Planning to keep 1 govt SBI and 1 private HDFC.

Need suggestions.

Depends on location, if you have banks like IDFC First, yes bank, Jana small or any scheduled bank giving 7% interest on savings will have offer you things without extra charges. If you are concerned about safety keep money below 5 lacs which insured and rest in SBI without debit card, you can always trasfer from yono to other account which has free services and cards
