Vodafone - VI - Prepaid sim card - What is the min recharge required to start incoming SMS - ( BANK otp, etc)

I have no recharge on my VI sim since 6months ..
Not sometime - 2 months ago - for 10-15 days - incoming SMS was working.
Now it is not working. What is the best min-rate recharge to active incoming SMS .
I just need to get 1 sms from Bank to login.

Vi automatically credits 3/7 days free OG in case of no recharge even for 2-3 weeks. IC SMS however was blocked early last year but could be reactivated by a Rs 10 topup. Since the tariff hike IC SMS is working w/o any topup in some nos.

Is this sureshot way or a hot and miss though.
maybe it could be that in our core they do not do this as often, because have seen a number without outgoing since 3 months not getting any freebie data for few days (which automatically resets the status to active).
