Happy Ganesh Puja guys. Maharashtra people must be having a blast today.
Some Life Lessons from Ganesh ji:
- Looks do not matter. He has a body of a fat man and head of an elephant. He rocks that look tbh. No?
- No matter what happens don't abandon your well wishers. Ex: Mouse is the mount of Ganesh ji. Full story. He didn't abandon his ride.
- Stand for your cause no matter what happens. He stood against his own father because he was doing his duty as a watchman.
- Knowledge is good. But Practical approach matters the most. He chose to circle around his own parents instead of circling around the world. He is the master of knowledge and he is very practical.
- Violence matters. Despite his goofy playful nature he is not a weak man. He can be very violent if he wishes to.
- Life should be celebrated. He loves food, music and dance.

Bala gangadhar tilak should also be remembered on this event. He brought youth together and made this bigger event.
Though we in our childhood used to start 10 days before visiting each pan shop telling them to keep empty cigarette packets and match boxes aside to make mandir by wrapping them in color papers. Our skill test to make big ribbons, collect different leaves and flowers. Breaking our piggy banks for money. Visiting houses requesting to make next day prasad.

Today i am dead with bloody mike sounds, club like dances and songs, drunk youth. GOD you should not witness them.
We already celebrate the birth anniversary of Great Bal Gangadhar Tilak on July 23. Even though, for certain reasons, he was never acknowledged in the same way as certain unworthy people. 😓
