Try doing PORT... They will give their best plan..
I am partial to the Rs 2999 annual pack which others 850GB data without any nonsensical daily limit. Plus Night Unlimited.
Hmmm, same plan I have but not getting good speed after recharge
Go with the 2999 plan......
2999 Annual Plan with 850GB Data with Night Unlimited which can be used as and how you want to. Like 20 MB today and 20GB tomorrow.
No daily cap.
Comes at 250 Per month.
Can someone tell me the lowest vi plan to receive SMS? even for 1 day it will okay
Sim validity was till October 2022.
I have 500rs Myntra gv loaded in Myntra account. Asking otp to redeem. But vi sim not getting any sms/otp.
99 with 28 days validity. In some cases 79/98 might give 14-21 days Service Validity but usually they aren't standalone. For nos. not recharged in a long time Rs 50 topup might give 28 days SV. No OG SMS in all of the above cases. Check in Vi app or *121# or *199# to confirm.
P.S. Vi has recently started blocking IC SMS after recharge expiry in most circles but Vi usually gives 1/2/3/7 days OG plus 7 days IC in non-recharged nos. pretty much every month. Check Vi app regularly. Even if validity is expired your will still get IC SMS for registering in the app. Vi also sends SMS when OG and/or data freebie is credited but it can be delayed by a few days at times. Better wait for the freebie to be credited if the GV isn't gonna expire soon. Also you can check the SIM deactivation date by dialling *199*2*2*1# although Vi hasn't deactivated any of my nos. despite years of no recharge. Some are even switched off most of the days
Rs.1449 - 1.5GB/day - 180 days
50 GB extra data for 180 days (comes handy if you exhaust daily data)
Weekend rollover plus Night unlimited.
Opting for annual plans is risky if you want to upgrade to 5G mid of plan and want to port to Jio or Airtel.
One other factor why you should not recharge yearly plans - government now holds major stake in Vi, the service quality will go downhill and 5G will be delayed.
Do you need the unlimited call benefit or mainly for data?
If mainly for data, recharge with 418 plan - 56 days, 100 GB, no daily limit, unused data will e carried forward if you recharge within validity date. Calls/OG-SMS charged extra and will be deducted from main bal.

Just like TRAI's intervention regarding restricting PORT SMS to higher value packs led to the operators like Airtel withdraw their short validity packs (Rs 19, 2 days UL calls) this might lead Jio (and Vi) to stop the unofficial free IC. In any case the situation is back to square one in case of Airtel as one one again needs to recharge with Rs 155 minimum to port out.
Any recharge option from main balance

Vi seems to have blocked IC SMS during the freebie period. OG and IC calls work but not SMS. Can't be a device specific issue as SMS isn't delivered even in SIMs residing in basic handsets.
Correction: IC SMS is still being delivered during freebie period in one no. belonging to Odisha circle but not in any of my Karnataka nos. including one in which I had recharged yesterday. OG SMS works but no IC SMS is delivered other than those from Vi. Registered a complaint yesterday, received prompt response but no resolution yet.
Some say that even during the 279₹ (service validity) SV plan they often get free data offers.
Or they win rewards by using the VI app for paying/recharging.
May help in conjunction with data rollover.
