I m interested to buy laptop mainly 3d design and rendering currently useing avita i5 10th gen without graphics card .. can use revit but unable to do rendering . So need to switch to GPU laptop(gaming)I am thinking to buy http://dl.flipkart.com/s/JDkQ...uN

Pls give me suggestions, because I not much about laptop, also not interested to spend much on laptop ( I am not such heavy user)

My doubts acer is reliable?

Buy only HP or Dell, acer and lenovo are not reliable. If possible you can buy MAC m2 of 16gb & 512gb model that runs for atleast 8yrs from now. Upfront cost is more, but longevity is there.

I am using Acer Aspire Series from 2017, Upgraded with SSD & Added 4 Gb Ram. Literally I haven’t faced any single issue except battery life in Acer. Acer is Worth every penny.. Just Check for Body type and you day to day Workload which your process can handle. in your Ryzen 7 will be good but added Graphic card will be better to enter. don’t expect for battery life(more than 2hrs) in any laptop(In any Brand)😂

Same here! I have a few Acer devices, including a laptop, and none of them have failed or broken down. I think some negative opinions about this brand are repeated like old folk tales, without any firsthand experience using Acer products.

Acer offers great value for money in IT equipment, and it lasts a long time.

Can't say for Acer, however for Lenovo I have heard lot of motherboard and trackpad related issues

I have two acer laptops failed with no replacement of mother board, one i sold for 3500 and other still lying. The integrated CUP and MB cost 25K to replace and that to they are not available. I had a post in DD requesting for help from ppl in delhi as i have found a few shops selling this model MB.

LG gram that i had now has different problem. It ran for exactly 3yrs 1 month and battery died. The service center wants 12800+GST for battery which agreed but they said service cost on top of it will be 1000+GST. so i denied. This is working but only on power source. Need to look for cheaper option.

The one i am using this to type HP working for solid 4.5yrs. I had two dell variants Inspiron and XPS they worked solidly for more than 8 yrs and parts are available from dell always. HP also same case.

@karad -- It depends on the 'series' they are talking about. In case of Acer, Predator and Nitro series is good. The one you shortlisted seems to be value for money considering what you get.
